xeBuild v1.04 & xeBuild GUI v2.081 - It Does Corona!

With all of the Corona related happenings going on lately, it was only a matter of time before the tools would start to be updated. The release of the Corona hack has pushed forward for an updated xeBuild and GUI.

For those who don't know, xeBuild is a combination of the fbBuild and ggBuild projects which were the go to tools for the JTAG and RGH respectively. xeBuild is usually bundled with the apps that are around for this, such as J-Runner. With the most recent release, the Reset Glitch Hack can be performed on Corona motherboards on the 15575 and 14719 dashboards.

Since xeBuild is operated from the command line interface and not everyone is comfortable with that, Swizzy has been releasing a GUI version alongside it.

xeBuild GUI v2.081

• Fixed: When searching for your console on the network (for xell) itll no longer spit out errors everytime it finds a computer but fails to download fuses (itll no longer tell you it cant decrypt kv when this happens)
• Fixed: The RGH 2.0 script has been updated with new patches that actually work for corona
• Fixed: Replaced CBB_13121.bin in the ECC folders to a proper one, BIG Thanks to Marchisio80 for telling me about this!
• Added: Included in the pack is now also a retail SMC for corona
• Fixed: Now using proper corona SMC when building retail images…
• Fixed: When building a image from scratch (extract vitals) with corona itll now attempt to extract FCRT.bin aswell
• Fixed: If you have selected ECC for RGH 2.0 itll now also switch to Freeboot for RGH 2.0 when you load cpukey using any method…

Swizzy warns that this version of the GUI isn't perfect and he will be looking to address all of the minor bugs in the upcoming v3.0 release. On top of that, there are other warnings in place, if you want to perform the RGH on your Corona via xeBuuild.
