Team Matrix Has Their Own Replacement PCB For The Liteon 1175 Too

Like Team Xecuter, Team Matrix has come up with their own replacement PCB for the Liteon 1175. This has been confirmed just days after their proof of concept video was leaked onto Youtube. The team explain that the replacement PCB is the only method that they see fit for the drive. As they explain, they say that while the kamikaze method (decapping, cutting, all that good stuff) can be done, you will need a good amount of precision as the area that you'll be working in, is really small thus increasing the risk for error. They also mention that they will be developing their own custom firmware for the PCB which includes all of the features and protections of the iXtreme firmware as well as some other extra goodies.

Team Matrix's replacement PCB will be compatible with all Xboxes sporting the Liteon 1175 drive that's currently running dashboard 15572 or higher. They have also uploaded a new proof of concept video demonstrating everything in use.

No word on what the pricing will be or when it will be available.
