Wasabi360 Firmware v1.2 Beta Firmware Released

For those not hanging onto a xk3y but a Wasabi360 instead, the team has pushed a new beta firmware available for testing. The firmware mainly includes support for dynamic AP25 challenges and GPT partitions. Let's take a closer look into everything.

First off, the dynamic AP25 challenges that were silently introduced last month can now be tackled by the Wasabi360 on the 14699 dashboard. Through the use of disc profiles, the random challenges can be answered correctly. To make this feature more juicy, the team has added flag protection in the even that you do not have the corresponding game profile and says that it is safe to go on Xbox Live while the Wasabi is in "Pass Through" mode.

The database for the game profiles are stored at '/wasabi/ap25db.bin' on the HDD in use with the Wasabi360 and support for most XGD3 games are included out of the box. As for XGD2 games that are AP25 enabled, disc profiles will have to be manually added. Some of those profiles are included in the firmware release.

The latter half of this update added GPT partition support. In other words, you can now use drives larger than 2 TB with the Wasabi360.
