The Xecuter Fusion & DemoN Teased Side By Side

Submitted by Demonchild; May 10, 2012

There finally comes a time where I don't have to use Team Xecuter's logo for their news postings. I've resorted to the DemoN logo this time around. A demo video has been posted of the DemoN, Xecuter's dual NAND solution and the Fusion, the custom kernel mentioned not too long ago, working together.

stefanounick has put together a video of both products working together on a Slim console. The first boot is the retail NAND running the Metro dashboard, and launching Gears of War 3. The second boot is into the second NAND, which is making use of the Xecuter Fusion. Here you can see two of the various features being demonstrated here. (Custom boot animation & XGD3 bypass)

The Xecuter Fusion is currently in beta testing, so if you can get your hands on it, you can try it out for yourself. As for the DemoN, it is expected to be completed and distributed soon. Hacked and retail NANDs living together in perfect harmony. This reminds me of the Xecuter X2/X3 modchip days for the original Xbox.

This allows Slim consoles to be JTAG'd where previously they could not be, if you don't know what JTAG is then google it. Its pretty freakin amazing.
