With LT+ v1.9 released for the majority of Slim Liteon drives across the board, you must be wondering how to go about flashing your drives being that they are locked out of the box. (0272 drives locked after the 13599 dashboard update) You're in luck as this post will break it all down for you.
Slim Liteon drives can have write protection added to it that is irreversible, starting with 0225 drives. So far, the only available method to get around the write protection is to replace the PCB with a custom unlocked version (Team-Xecuter) or to replace the MT chip. Either method will work with PCB replacement being the easiest.
Section 1: Grab the Tools
Section 2: Reading The Key From Your Drive
Once you acquired everything, you will have to read the key from your drive using Jungleflasher. If you already have your key, you can skip this section.
Liteon 9504 (Pre 13146 dash) / 0272 (Pre 13599 dash) - Use this guide to read and flash.
Liteon 0272 (Post 13599), 0225, 0401 - Follow Steps 1-6 of this guide to read your key.
At this point, you are done if you have a Liteon 9504 or 0272 drive. Remember, your drive is 0272 if you updated to the 13146 dashboard. If you have updated to the 13599 dashboard, you will have to follow the steps for the 0225/0401 drives. (PCB Replacement)
Section 3a: Fitting Your Replacement PCB
Now here comes the fun part, preparing your drive to be flashed. Replacing the PCB is pretty straightforward. By now, you should have your Slim disassembled. If not, there's a guide for that.
Once the drive cover is taken out, follow steps 1-13 of this guide to remove the PCB. After the old PCB is gone, follow this guide to fit the new PCB and solderless addon. Remember to install the IC heatsink as well. Of course, if you are always compelled to solder the wires back, you can. Here is an image of the IC heatsink. From there, continue to Section 4.
Section 3b: The Easy Way With A Caveat
If replacing a chip or an entire PCB isn't for you, the only other DIY (band-aid) solution is to buy a 9504 drive and flash it with the corresponding firmware. (i.e. Flash 0401 fw to 9504 board for a 0401 drive) However, once you flash the new firmware, it will become locked permanently and you won't be able to preform any future flashes.
Section 4: Flashing Your Replacement PCB
Now that your PCB is fitted and working, it will be unusable until you flash it with some sort of firmware. To do that, connect your drive to your computer and open Jungleflasher. Make sure the iXtreme LT+ firmwares are in the 'firmware' subfolder of Jungleflasher to make use of the Autoload feature.
When opened, click Open Source Firmware towards the bottom right side of Jungleflasher and select the 'dummy.bin' file you obtained from your read. Jungleflasher will then prompt you if you want to autoload iXtreme firmware. Click Yes. The respective LT+ firmware will be loaded and your key will be spoofed to it. From there, follow Steps 8-14 of the guide (here) to finish flashing. (It says 0225 but the process is all the same)
There you have it. After all of this, you will have successfully flashed your Slim drive with iXtreme firmware. Happy gaming! :)

I took my xbox to a guy who replaced the pcb. Willl I be able to hook the dvd drive up to my computer and read the dvd key with this unlocked pcb or do I still need to go buy a CK3 probe? Basically the guy who modded it no longer has my key and now I want to attempt this myself when LT 3.0 is released.
Big thanks to anyone who knows the answer to this!
