Make that 10 products on the line for Team Xecuter. What is today's announcement about? As you may guessed from the title, it's for the Unlocked Replacement PCB. It's on its second revision, so what's going to be the difference between the two?
The new revision (v1.1) adds an unlock switch that sits outside the DVD drive. This way, you can usually switch between the two modes (as Slim DVD drives are locked), with ease. The new boards also sport LEDs to indicate the "WE" status. The new PCBs (and the v1s) are now selling at $59.95, a $10 price drop. If you can find a reseller that has it in stock, then you're in business.
The switch sits outside the DVD drive as opposed to the Xbox itself, but it's a start. In fact, Ubergeek mentioned that something is in the works that encompasses that and an external programmer of sorts. Team Xecuter has been on a roll so it won't be too long before we see something surface.
