Silent AP25 Challenges Bypass Method

Submitted by Demonchild; November 19, 2011

It appears that a workaround has surfaced to get around the new AP25 challenges that was being introduced under the radar by Microsoft. All it takes is a 1GB, FAT formatted USB stick. Take a look at what to do below:

  1. Get a 1GB, FAT formatted USB device and insert into your Xbox.
  2. Go to System Settings > Memory Devices and prep the USB device as a storage device.
  3. Grab the title update for the game you want to bypass here.
  4. Download Horizon.
  5. With Horizon opened, go to Tools > Device Explorer
  6. Insert the prepped USB device into your computer.
  7. Your USB device will be detected by Horizon. Click on Inject File.
  8. Load the title update for the game you want to bypass.
  9. Reconnect the USB device into your Xbox, reboot and load your backup.
  10. You may or may not have to clear your system cache everytime you boot the game.

There you have it, let us know if it works for you or not.

Try one of the different title update files! I had to try two but the second one worked. Make sure you look for the right region too :)

Jeez seriously are you guys that stupid? It says to "CLEAR YOUR GAME CACHE" on your hdd everytime you try to play the game.

Go to your system preferences, select memory, when youre hovering over your hard drive with your controlled (dont click A) click Y to go to your HDD options. Now select Clear cache and youre set to go..

too expensive? I agree $60 is a big chunk of change at one time, and its definitely expensive if you're going to play a 5 hour campaign once. if you're like most gamers i know, you'll play that game for dozens of hours on a service that lets you do that and a hell of a lot more for an entire year. save your pennies for a few weeks, buy a used game on ebay or craigslist instead of 'needing' it at midnight release day or do a hack and take your chances. your live and game costs would be covered in a few days at $3 per gameplay/hour and then its basically free for the rest of the year. i'm an extremely casual player, just broke 10G after 5/6 years, and even I get my money's worth on most of the games I buy. 20 hours on CoD so far ($2/hr) and I don't do multiplayer at all, just campaign and coop.
