In the wake of the reset glitch hack found by GliGli and others, Team Xecuter has announced a new addon for their NAND-X product. Dubbed the Coolrunner, it'll be able to achieve the same results of the glitch hack without having the need to purchase all of the extra equipment such as resistors and all that good stuff.

Rolling off the reset glitch hack, GliGli as well as Cancerous, [cOz], Ced2911, RedLine99 and Tuxuser come together to release xeLL Reloaded. It improves upon the features of XeLL and XeLLous and can be used as a replacement. On top of that, it's all legal. Read on for the release notes and download link:

Yes you read right. You can run unsigned code on any console (Phat or Slim) with any dashboard with a "reset glitch". (And some hardware soldering) Best of all, it cannot be patched through a future dashboard update. Take a look at it in action:

Well I'm not the one to keep up with the homebrew for jtagged Xboxes as I don't have one but a couple people thought that I should make a note of Pcsxr-xenon. Pcsxr-xenon is a relatively new PS1 emulator for jtagged Xboxes. On top of that, it's legal so no need to hunt through Xbins to get it. Grab the changelog and download links below.

Important note that bears repeating about iXtreme LT+ v1.91 (and this probably applies to any subsequent firmware as long as additional random AP25 challenges [nicknamed "AP26"] are being used): "Due to the new AP26 random challenges the safety freeze for unknown or bad AP25 data is no longer supported. Unlockspi.exe is a simple app that floods WRSR 00 spi commands and outputs sound when the flash is unlocked. MX spi flash is attackable with a Vcc drop-down trick, you have to cut that trace to isolate some other mt1335 Vcc sources and quick apply a 10-15 ohm 1/4w resistance to have a quick Vcc dropdown while software is flooding. Configuring xKey - Facts xKey requires a dump of the original firmware from your drive. This is copied to the xKey's SD card, when the xKey boots the firmware file its analysed, the drive type is identified and the drive key etc. are extracted. If you have CFW: You should have a backup of the OFW (or all the information to recreate one) and it is this file that is used to configure xKey. There is no need to reflash your drive with OFW. If you have a stock drive: a dump must be obtained using available tools (we recommend the Maximus Lizard 360).

For those following the news of the Russian Unlock for Slim Liteon drives, you may have read that both Team Maximus and Team Xecuter has accepted the method and will work towards pushing towards a full fledged solution - in both cases, a product being pushed. Boryan - a team of Russian hackers over at hackfaq.net (Google translated) have managed to unlock and write to flash on the new Xbox 360 Slim LiteOn drives using a method similar to MRA and unlock software by sekil! They also posted a video on YouTube (great music).
