The DVD drive hacking and iXtreme firmware extraordinaire is back on the daily grind. c4eva has announced that he has started work on the Hitachi DLN10N 0500/0502 drives found in Slim Xboxes. After being put aside time and time again to focus on their Slim Liteon counterparts, the Hitachis have retaken the spotlight. Since this is one of the few times that c4eva has touched the Slim Hitachi drives, it will be a while before any developments occur. In other recent news however, c4eva has completed iXtreme LT+ v3.0 for the Liteon 1175 and is awaiting testing, before being released.
On top of that, Team Xecuter has been working on getting their replacement PCB for the Liteon 1175 drive released as well as working on a new DVD drive hack that is being described as "The Lord of the Hacks." With all of this work going on, all at the same time, it'll be sooner than later that a finished product surfaces.
