Lots Of New Stuff From Team Xecuter & c4eva

To end the first month of the new year with a bang, Team Xecuter, c4eva and co. have released the long awaited iXtreme LT Ultimate for Slim Xboxes using Team Xecuter's new replacement PCB. LT Ultimate is a one size, fits all firmware for Slim DVD drives that have been fitted with Team Xecuter's replacement PCB specificially made for Slim consoles. It supports all of the DVD drives found in the Slim to date and includes all the features found in LT+ v3.0. On top of that, all that's required to flash the firmware asides from the PCB is the DVD key to the drive and J-Runner data. Here are the release notes:

 

C4E's iXtreme LT Ultimate in association with Team Jungle & Team Xecuter. Official release of the iXtreme LT Ultimate for Team Xecuter LTU PCB.

  • Support for Liteon 0225, 0401, 1071, 1175, 1532, Hitachi 0500/0502
  • No need for firmware dump of source drive. Requires dvdkey and J-Runner data
  • Supports enhanced topology data if present for more accurate topology responses (Future ABGX support)
  • Requires new JF to support LTU board flashing process. Use 0800 dual layer disc in drive to enable reflashing/vendor mode once LTU is written to board

 

This firmware is uniquely written for the TX LTU board. It has all the features of LT 3.0 with the addition of the LTU features.

To go alongside this release, a firmware update is available for the X360USB PRO, which supports the new replacement PCB, a new Jungleflasher and a new J-Runner for the new firmware and flashing procedures.

    • liteon DG-16D4S 0225, 0401, 1071 - lost f/w replacement, replaced with a T-X DG-16D5S replacement
    • hitachi DL10N 0500, 0502 - replaced with a DG-16D5S
  • Bug fix to SlimKey for bytes at 3f005, 3f006
  • IO port enumeration for Win 8 using old school PCI bus scan
    • Using new portIO driver from schtrom with 32bit memory access

Personally I think this is USELESS. TX just wants to sell more useless shit. Forgive me but... if the RGH is needed to retrieve the dvd key, why not just leave the glitch chip installed and boot from a HD? Seems useless to me, but thanks for the effort.

I guess you'd remove coolrunner and install LTU so you can jump on XBOX live.
