iXtreme LT+ v3.0 Released For BenQ & Phat Liteon Drives

Submitted by Demonchild; December 25, 2011

As promised, c4eva has released iXtreme LT+ v3.0 for Phat Xbox drives, the Phat Liteon and BenQ drives to be more specific. iXtreme LT+ v3.0 now supports the reading of topology data which allows it to correctly answer any AP25 challenge regardless of the game being launched, challenge being thrown or dae.bin table in effect. c4eva goes in depth regarding the new topology data.

When ap25 was first introduced I devised a way of calculating any challenge which I called the silver bullet which I made reference to a long time ago. This was withheld until it was absolutely necessary. It was easier to replay the fixed challenges. With unique per console ap25 challenges it has become necessary to use the silver bullet. A series of measurements are taken across the disk. This topology data is then used to calculate a response to any ap25 challenge. It is very important that the drive used to create the topology data is reliable at reading discs as bad topology data equals bad ap25 responses.

c4eva notes that the Phat Liteon drives using the 0800 v3 firmware are the most reliable for ripping topology data and that ripping new data for each game is recommended. There has been no new Jungleflasher with iXtreme LT+ v3.0 but a new Xbox Backup Creator has been released with support for ripping the topology data.

Happy Holidays!

For a few dash updates it suggested to falsh to OFW update then flash CFW back to the drive. You probably just flagged your console sir.

If my 360 is updated to 3.0 should my games that didn't work before due to the silent update work now?  Or do I need to buy new "back up" games?
