Here's How To Prep Your Slim For LT Ultimate

If you have been following the news lately, you would have read that c4eva and Team Xecuter have come up with a solution for the Liteon DG-16D5S and Hitachi drives found in the Slims. With that bit of news, you're probably excited and itching to get your box rocking LT Ultimate. Like DVD drive hacking has always been, the goal is to extract your DVD key, inject it into LT Ultimate and flash it back to your drive. Unfortunately for these set of drives, you'll have to perform the Reset Glitch Hack.

 

Once the RGH is performed and your DVD key & 'fcrt.bin' file is extracted, you'll have what you need to proceed with getting your Slim rocking LT Ultimate. From there, fit Team Xecuter's replacement PCB for the drive, flash LT Ultimate with your DVD key and you'll have yourself a hacked DVD drive.

 

At the moment, LT Ultimate for the Liteon DG-165S (1175/1532) and Hitachi DLN10N (0500/0502) drives is its testing phases.

Hi, can you recommend a good newbie frendly guide for rgh? There's so much tools and hardware comming out that it's hard to find an updated one. Thanks!
