Well, we all know that Microsoft isn't coming to E3 with the Xbox 720. Sad news it is, but the wigs are apparently at work creating an even more slimmed down version of the Xbox 360. It's the newest rumor that's going out. What's going to be new or rather different here? Let's take a look.
The new Xbox 'Lite' is targeted at those who can't afford the cost of the regular 360. The rumor indicates that the console will be announced with a $100 price tag and be more Kinect centric. Not only that, the Lite is supposed to have some sort of Windows Phone integration.
The specs of this console sound similar to an earlier Xbox 720 rumors regarding its two possible SKUs. The interesting thing here is that these details are coming from a guy who goes by the name of MS Nerd. According to the source, MS Nerd has been pretty spot on with what he reports. Let's see if he can come through again here.
Do you think that the Xbox 'Lite' will be born as a 360 or will it come as a 720? Will it even come at all? Sound off in the comments.

Why bring out another version of the 360? The 360 S is a big waste of money anyway! I prefere the old fat consles (not that their much bigger!) Big waste of money if you ask me!

The Xbox 360S is not a waste of money as it does use less electricity. The S power supplies are rated 120-135 watts (depending on if it's a Trinity or Corona) compared to the 150-203 watt original 360 power supplies. Plus they are quieter. Even the DVD drive is quieter. Although the 360S does still suffer from the DVD Drive scrating discs. Also you don't need a special adapter to plug the S hard drive into a computer. From a hacing perspective, the Jasper is the best 360 to get as it's the most reliable of the original units and glitches the best.

the next xbox should infact be able to run linux/homebrew and not be banned from xbox live by doing so! it willl put hackers out of business because it will not need hacking and then there should be some type of homebrew market where people can upload and share homebrew abit like the android market!
this way we pay a little more for our console but it does what we want it to do rather than buying a console and having to build on microsofts console to make it do what we want!
as long as we are running just homebrew/apps the community have created and not cheating microshit out of there money by running pirated games ms should be happy!!!
building and selling a console is amazing but why dont ms do some market research and the people what they want from there consoles and build it to there needs!!!
