The Xbox IS Banned In Germany

Remember last month, we told you that Microsoft was fighting a fight with Motorola over patents? Yes, the very same Motorola that's going at it with Apple. Unfortunately, Microsoft has lost this fight.
A court has ruled in Motorola's favor over the claim that Microsoft violated their patents when it came to the video compression software in use in both Windows 7 and the Xbox 360. Due to this, Microsoft is now required to cease sales of both products within the boundaries of Germany.
Bad news for Xbox 360 users over there. Scurry to your local game store and pick one up before it's too late. With brand new consoles slowly disappearing, will you be importing a Xbox now or going over to the PS3?

Lol. I never thought i see the day when M$ lose the opporunity to sell X360 in a country. This just goes to show that u can't call it next generation if u are still using DVD9 format for ur games when they shound've used the new hddvd format, which is capable of holding more data. It still suk anyway when it comes to game content. I rather have them on my disc then going online to ddl the addition content just because the dvd ran out of space.

That's that in my opinion sure Xbox and ps3 are close but yes ps3 controllers are a much better design and Xbox in myopinion charges a bit much for the whole online experience ie: Xbox live and wireless adapter if you don't have a slim wifi has always been built in to ps3 and online is free ... Now I do own 2 Xbox 360's one is a jtag one isn't and also a 3.55 ps3 on cfw but I must say with all you pay to be on Xbox the servers should be a lot faster better and less glitchy sometimes it's the same experience you get on ps3 for free online.
And the online speeds and experiences that I am referring are mostly when playing one out of the 7 COD titles because they see a lot of play in our home
But we do play them on both systems and especially cod BO and mw3 the lag is just silly on xbox servers sometimmention also the hackers can someone please tell Microsoft that hackers on the Call of Duty are ruining the game shut them down and that also goes for ps3 as well!!!
I will continue to use my jtag and cfw ps3 for saving my games to my hdd so I never have to replace another scratched or otherwise damaged disc but I do not support hacking it just destroys the games we love!!! And love to play!!!

I am a PC gamer, and while I am most proficient in Windows 7, I also use Linux regularly, and OSX from time to time. I also play Xbox and PS3, and look to get a Wii in the months to come. Why would you want to stick to one product and one alone, than bash all the others, when you can have the experience that all the systems provide. Granted you rshelling out more cash for games, but in the end there are PC only games that I love, as well as games made only for PS3, and ones made for 360. I still get to enjoy all these games, because I refuse to be a "fanboy" and stick with one console/OS.
