Shiny New Controllers!

There's a certain amount of money spent buying games and Xbox Live. Maybe you have some money saved from Microsoft's last deals. If you do, you can spend that on stuff like case and lighting mods. Perhaps you want to keep it simple? There's something for you too.

Major Nelson has announced that a new lineup of controllers will be making their way to the market. This time around, they will be chrome plated in various colors to give it that eye candy factor. Showcased in his blog post are the silver, red and blue variants. The design also feature black trim that runs along the edges on the front of the controller.

It wasn't mentioned whether these controllers will have the redesigned D-pad. The price for one of these will rape your wallet for $54.99 and will be scheduling that appointment for May.
