Half a year ago, Microsoft released the Xbox Live application for iOS devices. With it, you can check up on your buddies, view achievements and the like. With the newest update, you'll be able to somewhat run your Xbox on your iOS device. More specifically, from your iPhone or iPod Touch.
The latest update to the Xbox Live app allows users to remotely connect to their Xboxes and control it with a virtual controller. As the controller lacks triggers as well as the LB & RB buttons, you won't be able to bust some chops playing online. However, it will do if you want to navigate the dashboard and any kind of multimedia that you may be playing, at the time.

Other than this addition, authentication has been improved and high-res images are now displayed for the iPad.
You can pick up the official Xbox Live application from iTunes.

This is exactly the same as what is running on windows phone 7.5 right now and has been for a while.
Its not great but for pausing a film or playing music its fine as a quirky bit of software
