Despite the updates that Bioware and EA are cranking into Mass Effect 3, they have yet to fix the infamous "Black Hole" glitch that prevents Xbox 360 users from being able to reach the ending ever so faster.
A gamer by the name of Resante has discovered that the glitch occurs as a result of three corrupted entriess that reside in the hidden save file stored away in your gamer profile. In order to fix the issue, one has to pull the gamertag from the Xbox, modify the Mass Effect 3 related file and then send in back to the Xbox.
It's a lengthy process but when all is said and done, Mass Effect 3 will be able to continue and go onto loading the actual game. The one downside to this however, is that this fix will reset your achievement status for Mass Effect 3. On top of that, Microsoft isn't too fond of gamertag modding. Will they be overlooking the policy just this once?
You can grab the patch tools needed below. Let us know if it works for you.
