For years now Microsoft have been using a point system to purchase content, some of you may not know this but these points have been used across various Microsoft products, not just the Xbox 360. Fight with Pride!

The demo for UFC Undisputed 3 is out now, and THQ has put out a couple of videos to get people excited about the game as well. The first video merely showcases the Pride mode, which lets you fight in a ring instead of a cage and implements the rules of the old Japanese promotion, such as legal head stomps, soccer kicks, and knees to a grounded opponent.

In more Microsoft related news, they have finally acknowledged, (or at least Major Nelson did) the fact that there is indeed a decrease of quality in videos that are viewed on a Xbox that has the Metro dashboard installed. More specifically, the limited color space results in less colors being used to display the videos resulting in faded colors and blacks.

I recently covered some news discussing the poor start in sales for the PlayStation Vita and how damaging it has been for the handheld; however Microsoft seems to be experiencing a completely different experience. In the latest trailer for Soul Calibur V, we see that there's a story there amongst all the blood and swords.

Yes, it may just be an arena fighting game in which you slice and dice your opponent to shreds with a variety of bladed implements, but Soul Calibur V also tells a story of two magical swords and the chaos that springs up around them.

Shoot Many Robots is a downloadable game that is coming "very soon." It is being published by Ubisoft and developed by Demiurge Studios, who are known for their work on Mass Effect for PC, BioShock, Rock Band, and Brothers in Arms. This new game is more of a 2D, platforming homage to games of old, but it's still looking pretty cool.
