If you haven't received it already, Microsoft's pushing a new dashboard to Xboxers across the globe. Dash 14719 allegedly fixes voice recognition issues, color space (again) and a party chat glitch. Again, that's allegedly. As usual, you know that Microsoft's always up to something regarding patching RGH and iXtreme.

So it was mentioned on Major Nelson's blog that the 14717 dashboard released a few days ago was to address a color space issue. As always, that isn't usually just the case. Underlying the eye candy are a series of security updates that not only attempt to reflash your DVD drive but your also blocks RGH completely on both Phat and Slim consoles.

Alright, new rumor story time! We can stop calling the Xbox 720, the 720 and start addressing it as the Durango. It shares its name with the Jeep, as well as a city in Mexico. This is what the story is saying, as Kotaku reports. Several sources have confirmed that the Xbox 720 is indeed rocking Durango.

This guy is getting old already, look at his grey hairs lingering in his beard in the latest instalment. However it seems that Ubisoft have become aware of this and it looks like goodbye for good old Ezio. After the huge success of the series so far, it seems that many fans out there are already looking forward to the release of the next Assassins Creed title.

If you got a hacked Xbox, then it's time to lay off the Xbox Live. There have been reports of a new dashboard update that began its rollout today. Since there was no heads up given by Major Nelson or elsewhere, it could be an indicator that Microsoft is up to some sneaky stuff.

That's the most recent rumor coming out from the mill. The Xbox 720 will sport a controller with a touchscreen directly integrated into it. Better yet, the rumor goes on to say that it will have a HD touchscreen display along with the physical lineup of buttons. Yes, it's all juicy info.

2012 is set to be a truly amazing year for the gaming industry, the developers seem to be pulling out all the stops this year to really bring their best and Capcom are no exception to this rule. With the up and coming release of Street Fighter X Tekken, Capcom havent been short of working hard on new titles and with Asuras Wrath on its way we also look to have something new.

Amazon is always the place to catch a good deal. Just recently, they were offering 1 year Xbox Live memberships for $40... Hell, Amazon is still doing that along with the regular 3 month membership at $19.34. The new deal being offered this time around is 3 months of Xbox Live with an extra month.

With Mass Effect 3 coming down the tube, there's no other way to promote sales by offering something for the console itself. While it may not be a new limited edition console, EA will be offering a console vault as well as some DLC to go along with it.

It's great to see the development that continues to go into the Kinect controller on the daily basis. If it's not game or official app developers doing something, it's out in the homebrew community. This time around, Telus takes the Kinect a step further by integrating full voice control into it's TV streaming app called Optik TV.

Kinect Star Wars is an upcoming game for Xbox that will be sporting its own limited edition console. The Kinect Star Wars console first appeared alongside the Gears of War 3 console back in 2011. Now as Kinect Star Wars is on its way to release, the console will finally get to drop with it on April 3rd.
