With graphics and processors getting better and more advanced with each generation, rebooting classic franchises has become more popular than ever. Just yesterday we saw Square Enix's take on Tomb Raider, but there are plenty of other old games that could be a real hit if they were backed by some of today's technology.

Especially with all this talk of the coming "next generation," discussions about which console has the best exclusives have never been more popular. After all it's these very titles that actually separate an Xbox 360 from something like a PS3. Still, does having the rights to produce games with a certain character really matter all that much? If you asked me, I would tell you that I'm not so sure about their buying power.
