More About Game of Thrones RPG Released

Focus Home Interactive has released some more details about the Game of Thrones RPG coming next year. Cyanide Studios is the brains behind the operation and with GoT they're taking on their biggest project yet. This RPG will have 30 hours of gameplay (seems a tad short for a RPG) and as you can see from all the previews we've seen, it will be faithful to the books and the HBO television show.

You will take on the roles of two characters. The first is Mors of the Night's Watch and the other is Alester, a Red Priest recently returned to Westeros and looking for redemption after being in exile. These two will be on a quest that will take you to the Wall in the far north, the capital city of King's Landing, and everywhere in between and beyond. Main characters from A Song of Ice and Fire (the series of which Game of Thrones is the first book) appear in the game, such as Queen Cersei Baratheon, Verys the Spider, and Jeor "Old Bear" Mormont.

You will be able to choose the class and fighting style of your character, and you will also be able to slow down time (like bullet time, except without bullets) to better analyze combat situations and figure out how to best deal with them. Sounds like combat will be decidedly lethal, which is in keeping with the core material in which anyone can die at any time.
