Microsoft Buys Exclusive Rights to Indie Game Deadlight

The hungry Microsoft beast gobbles another one up.

But seriously, Microsoft now has the publishing rights to the indie game being developed by Tequila Works called Deadlight. Deadlight is a platforming puzzler survival horror game (huh?) set somewhere on the West Coast in 1986. The apocalypse has come and now you as Randall Wayne have to survive. I'm assuming there will be zombies, but we'll have to wait and see.

CEO and Creative Director of Tequila Works Raul Rubio said that the game being published by Microsoft Studios is "a dream come true." Tequila Works is based out of Madrid and has previously worked on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Overlord II, Heavy Rain, and Diablo III.

There's no release date assigned yet, but Deadlight will be an Xbox Live Arcade game.
