Microsoft And Their Story In Germany

In 2011, Microsoft fell at the center of a patent case against Motorola. Through an injunction, Motorola was looking to bar Microsoft from selling their products in Germany. (Windows & 360s) Today, a judge has ruled in someone's favor...
A judge in Seattle has ruled today that Microsoft will be allowed to sell their products in Germany until the results of the patent case with Motorola is ruled upon. At this point, Microsoft is safe. However, if Motorola happens to come out on top in this case, it has the potential to bar Microsoft from Germany altogether.
The two companies are in court because Microsoft originally filed a lawsuit against Motorola for not providing patents at a fair price in 2010 and Motorola responded with one of their own a year later, claiming that Microsoft violated their patents.
