Metro Dash Finally Released

So while I have been napping, Microsoft finally got around to dropping the new Metro dashboard for the Xbox 360. It brings the version numbering up to 2.0.14699.0 and is unchanged from the last dashboard for those in the Xbox preview program. (Which means that I inadvertently updated to the latest :P) I'm not going to regurgitate the new features introduced with the Metro dashboard but if you are an iXtreme / ODD user, you might want to take a look below.
As mentioned before, iXtreme LT+ v3.0 is scheduled to drop after this dashboard update pending the analysis of it by the team. If you are using iXtreme and can't hold off from this update, it's recommended to flash back to stock firmware BEFORE updating to the Metro dash. Of course, it doesn't mean you can flash it right back after either. If you are an ODD user, then you might want to check out your product's website for news for relevant info regarding the effect on the update.
If you're going ahead with the update, you can grab it for your console via Xbox Live or from Xbox.com when the link is updated.

riiight has anyone tried running through the update on a flashed drive yet? if it reflashes you back to stock i think imma wait for lt 3.0, but if it leaves it untouched might as well update.

my friend updated his modded game today and it went through and the burned games still works so i was thinking of doing mine as well

like i said in my above comment the new dash does NOT unflash your drive. we updated with a flashed drive as well as copy Fifa12 disk in the system and everything still works well online and offline

i updated my offline banned console and it wont let me play games now. so dont update

I have my xbox360 flash with LT 3.0 is it safe to update to latest dashboard

my white xbox 360 is hacked can i update it by usb flash from xbox.com or not????
because am afraid that i wouldn't be able to use the copied games any more
