Last month, Microsoft started selling an all white Kinect bundle. As pretty as the console may look, it's not an enjoyable piece of eye candy if you're looking to hack it. It was discovered that these Limited Edition consoles are shipping with not only Liteon 1175 drives but with Corona motherboards. What does this mean for you?
At the moment, this means that these consoles are not hackable. c4eva is working on the Liteon 1175 drives while Team Xecuter and co are working on getting the Reset Glitch Hack working with Corona motherboards. Of course, there aren't no ETAs given on projects such as these, so there could be a solution today, next week or next year.
If you want a console that's hackable, you want to go used.

Considering that the Modern Warfare 3 360 bundle had a Corona motherboard, it doesn't surprise me that any 360 made today has one. Although the MW3 360 I bought came with a Hitachi DVD drive. We know that they will prevail in hacking them. They always do.
