Last week’s sales figures for Microsoft’s 6 year old Xbox 360 totalled 750,000, putting the early sales of the highly stocked Wii U to shame. Microsoft has stated that the sales have exceeded any internal forecasts for their console during this sale period.
Not only this, but during last years Black Friday week in the US, Xbox Live Gold Memberships saw a 43% increase, whereas this years improvement goes beyond that by a further 7%, showing a total for a 50% increase of Gold Memberships. In comparison to its rivals, the Wii U hasn't had the start it may have wanted, however Microsoft will surely be over the moon with their continued dominance of the US.
Let me know your thoughts.

Any console that has been hacked becomes more valuable, why do you think M$ only try to prevent online usage of such consoles unlike Sony going after shops n individuals with threats of court ?
Adds support to the arguement hacking doesnt mean piracy as a rule as i see M$ with the biggest sales, with the biggest exclusive titles and the biggist lineup of affialiates and getting bigger by the day ? Wii U will become stronger in sales the second major progress is made on the hack attempts
