Wii Mini Confirmed!

Well ladies and gentlemen; I can confirm that these rumours are in fact true. It was only yesterday that rumours were flying around about the potential of a Wii Mini.  Now we have received confirmation from Nintendo that the product will be released this holiday season...December 7th to be exact.

 

 

There is a bad side to this story though; the miniature console will only be available during the holiday season and strangely enough, only in Canada. Unfortunately, we don’t have any further information on this decision from Nintendo but we will let you know everything as soon as we know. We can confirm that although the console looks pretty nifty, it is just a budget version of the original Wii.

 

The Wii Mini will NOT include any form of internet connectivity and will NOT feature backwards compatibility with Gamecube games. Finally, the Wii Mini has a manual release for the disc tray, unlike most consoles available at the moment. Let me know your thoughts.
