Homebrew Channel Released For The Wii U

With the recent developments surrounding the Wii U, it was only a matter of time before some homebrew was released for it. With a new exploit and some changes, a new version of the Homebrew Channel was released. This version is able to be installed on both the Wii and the Wii U consoles. For the Wii U, the Homebrew Channel will be running inside the virtual Wii Sandbox mode as well as in a partial Wii U mode, which makes everything function just as if you were running it on the Wii U. In Addition, technical limitations render BootMii unbootable on the console.

 

The Homebrew Channel is an application that allows users to load homebrew on their console while adding itself to the Wii System Menu. This eliminates the need to continually launch exploits to run homebrew each time the console is booted. You can grab the new Homebrew Channel below and get it cracking on your Wii U.

Do USB loaders work for the Wii side of the Wii U. Like playing my old wii games I have backed up on an external drive on the Wii U

Are we able to do anything with the homebrew channel on wii u at this time or can it just only be installed at the moment?
