If youre into Wagic the homebrew then Im about to make your day. Seriously. Wololo has released a new version with a little help from his friends and you won't want to miss it.
Wololo is back from vacation and has brought us a present thats a little better than a novelty tee-shirt. Thats right, he has released Wagic v0.18.6 and a list of improvements and people to thank so lets get started. First lets cover what the game is for those who dont know yet. Wagic is a fantasy card game where you fight against the computer as a wizard. The more battles you win the more you can unlock and build and improve your army/cards. There is also a lot of community involvement with this game in the form of themes, mods and comes in several languages and will run on just about every platform and mobile device. So what separates this game from mainstream games you might get from the store? Price!! This game is 100% free so give it a try and I doubt youll be disappointed.
Wololo wanted to thank everyone who helped get this version out the door and its only fitting that we do the same so a big thanks gos out to Zethfox and Mike and to the other devs of the Wagic team and of course wololo. So whats new in this version? Well now there are about 1000 new cards bringing the grand total to around 9400 cards in the game along with the highly anticipated Plainswalkers and a few more other sets.
Change Log
Almost 1000 new cards were added to this release thanks to the work of Zethfox and Dr Solomat. This means we now have more than 9400 unique cards in the game. Among these cards are the long awaited Planeswalkers, as well as a few new sets. We also dramatically improved the Android and iOS ports, especially the deck editor. Check the changelog below for more details
- Close to 1000 new cards, Wagic now supports more than 9400 unique cards, including (finally!) Planeswalkers support, and Dark Ascension
- (iOS/Android) replaced some psp specific shortcuts with buttons for the touch screen. This makes the deck editor, in particular, much more usable
- (iOS/Android) more intuitive way to scroll cards left and right in the deck editor, which should make it easier to build a deck
- On Android, it is now possible to choose if you will download the game files on the internal memory or your SD card (experimental)
- Many bug fixes, and minor gameplay improvements on all platforms (too many to describe them all)
