PSP Homebrew: OpenBoR Development: Classic Fantasy 1.17 Released

Ever since LavaLit released the source for its Beats of Rage beat-em-up style engine for PSP users, there have been a ton of great PSP homebrew games created from the homebrew coding system on a variety of systems. Everything from Kill Bill to Golden Axe has been capitalized on by this great open source tool, and today we welcome another of such developments to the PSP homebrew community.

From developer NickyP comes a game called Classic Fantasy, which (if you couldnt tell from its name) bases itself heavily on some of the older Final Fantasy titles. Still, even if you arent a fan of games that include magic, spells, or wizards, Classic Fantasy has quite a lot to offer any casual gamers.

In version 1.17 released today, there are a host of additions to this game that players can look forward to such as updated bosses, magic, and even an unlockable character for those of you that are skilled enough. For a very simple homebrew effort then, this game offers a rather deep gaming experience that any fans of the fantasy or beat-em-up genre will take a liking to. Im sure this wont be the last we hear of this game.
