neur0n Releases HEN For 6.60

neur0n is back at it again. This time, he has released a homebrew enabler for PSPs on firmware 6.60. For those new to the scene or for those who need a refresher, homebrew enablers (HENs) allow you to run homebrew while on official firmware and it is usually the first step to getting downgraders or custom firmwares going. While this isn't the case, this is definitely useful for those who can't make use of the 6.60 PRO firmware. Anyhows, neur0n's 6.60 HEN has ISO support and of course support for homebrew. However, it does not have support for plugins as of yet.

To get this going on your PSP, download and extract the packaged 'EBOOT.PBP' file to a folder of its own located at /PSP/GAME on your memory stick. (i.e. /PSP/GAME/HEN660/EBOOT.PBP) From there, navigate to GAME > MemoryStick in the XMB and launch the HEN. After it boots, you can get to playing your favorite homebrew and games on official firmware.

I tried it on my PSP Go (PSP-N1004), date code 9c, that shipped from the factory with 6.60, works fine. I'm guessing it'll work fine on the PSP-N3004, too.

Hi got this HEN 6.60 on to my psp 3003 and it boots up ok then goes to a brownish coloured theme screen then goes back to the psp screen as normal?


It does say HEN test and then after it boots with some text it then states exit?


What is supposed to happen and how do i know if it is working?

This will work on ALL psp's as long as you're also on firmware 6.60

I'm still in 3.55 with all 3 of my psp. Ive been out of the psp scene for some time but I all the new CFW but i now have no clue what the hell is going on LOL... Are all these new CFW just so you can play the new games? What about the Homebrews? all the Emulators, do these still work with the new CFW? Working on the Ps3 took all my time and now im lost :(

snes9xTYLmecm(0 91127) does not work with this...it crashes when I load any rom. All else seems fine.
