The ZombieSinf2 Gets An Update

Submitted by Christopher Groux; September 18, 2012

If you've been dying to get a homebrew fix of the zombie apocalypse on your PSP, then why not try out the latest build of zharikov.vitalik's ZombieSinf2. The sequel to the popular Zombie Infection game offers players the chance to take down the undead with a variety of different weapons to allow for a maximum body count.

Admittedly, this game is probably going to be somewhat hard to play and understand if you don't speak the Russian language, but that doesn't make it any less worthy of mentioning as a worthwhile additive to the still alive scene. Whether you can comprehend this story or not, it is essentially your goal as one of the last surviving humans during the zombie apocalypse to take down as many of those nasty undead freaks as you can. The plot progresses as you move forward with your tasks, and while I can't exactly read everything, it seems like a pretty in-depth effort to be created by such a young coder.

In this version specifically, there are a whole host of bug fixes that has made the gameplay "reach great heights." Among these crucial changes is that now you'll have a much easier time switching between the games for major weapons. Touches of realism have also been added to these objects of force as well including a propper trajectory for grenades and a more obvious different in style when wielding a shotgun versus the standard gun. Obviously there are a ton of aspects to note about this PSP Homebrew release that took six months to construct, but the best way to experience them is to play the homebrew game yourself. Just like a zombie, this game proves that the PSP scene just keeps on rising from the dead.
