RemoteJoyLite v0.19 Released

Developer Akind reenters the limelight with his popular plug-in... Get a load of RemoteJoyLite -- it's best described as a "TV out" experience over USB. You're given both the prx and Windows client to get started right after reading this...

And you should know -- RemoteJoyLite descends from TyRaNid's tool known as RemoteJoy. And for what its worth — the loosely translated [Japanese to English] change log:

Right-click the mouse to get the configuration screen.
PSP's analog pad and buttons to be assigned to.
Vblank asynchronous transfer mode in the timing of the change to a forced transfer.

dont worry i fixed it, you have to create another notepad txt file named game or game.txt i cant remember but try both, what will happen is when ur in the xmb then vsh code will work and when you go into a game a glitch will happen and then the game code will kick in and make the game work, btw if you use a usb 2.0 like a ps3 charger one like i got and plug in in a back usb port, it works better and faster.

im not sure if supports capture u may have to get own screen recorder program from web!

and as for manhunt 2 it does work along with all other games! nothing to do with remotejoy try sorting out ya no-umd driver use M33 always worked for me

i think you can press "c" or F12?
but you can always use a screen recorder, like camstasia studio, webcammax (the one i use, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... , using a really old remotejoy version), or you can go free & try VLC Media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) just go to open capture device, choose screen & you will have to manually input the remotejoy window coords (Print screen & paste it to paint, you can tee the coords in the lower-right corner)

dont know what i am doing wrong, but i cannot get this to work ..i am using a psp phat ..5.00 m33v3 ..i had it working on the cfw before 5.00 ..but i thought i am doing everything like a did before ..but just a black screen and the "waiting" ..i dunno ..maybe im just haveing a brain fart and missing something ..i copied the lib file in windows system 32 ..copied the prx file in my psp ..and adding the correct line in my game.txt ..so i dunno

in the package you get it comes with the software you need to install it to your pc, when it asks you to install it, go to that file and select it and that will install it.

I wonder if it's me or windows vista, I just can not get remotejoy to work.
I've tried remotejoy & remotejoylite (remotejoylite gives me the PSP screen but nothing else, remotejoy gives error message on PSP)

Any ideas???

the difference between v.18 and .19:
you can set the controls of the analog in version .19 while you can't in 0.18

the driver of "PSP Type B" is included in the other remotejoy (RemotejoySDLGU I)
google for it ^^

to install, put the prx file in the seplugins folder. edit the vsh.txt to make this work on the xmb and edit the game.txt to make this work on games by adding the following line:
ms0:/seplugins/remotejoylite.prx 1
reboot your psp

this works for 5.00 m33-4

I installed the prx on a phat 5.00 m33. I installed the drivers and windows thinks everything is fine.
When I connect the psp RemoteJoy only says "WAITING" on a blank screen.
ANY Ideas? help please.

I solved my own problem. The solution:
my phat psp is a psp-1001 with a TA-082 motherboard, so when I had first downgraded from $ony's original firmware to custom fw some idstorage keys got screwed in the process.
So the fix is to use KeyCleaner to fix the keys and then IdStorage manager to fix a 0x0041 key that couldn't be fixed by keycleaner. The 0041 key is fixed by flashing this position with a 0x0041.bin from another working phat TA082 psp.

Here are the STEPs
1-In ' X:\seplugins ' (where x represents the drive of your memory stick of your PSP). Copy ' RemoteJoyLite.prx ' from the download above.

2-this step depends on if you have ' game.txt ' AND ' vsh.txt ' in the ' X:\seplugins ' folder;
a-If yes then open both the files (' game.txt ' and ' vsh.txt ') and in the next line COPY THIS "ms0:/seplugins/RemoteJoyLite.prx"
b-If not then make 2(two) new TEXT file (by in the folder 'right click on the mouse' and then 'NEW' and then click Text Document). And in one of the text files name it as "game" and the other one is "vsh". And in those text files past this in it "ms0:/seplugins/RemoteJoyLite.prx".

3-Shutdown you’re PSP (by pushing the power trigger up for some time). And then insert your memory stick in it.

4-PRESS YOUR "R" BUTTION AND CONTINUE PUSHING IT (TILL I TELL YOU TO LEAF IT) AND START YOUR PSP

5-NOW you can leaf it after you will see a black screen with red writing. Go to "plugins" and then enable all the options available (by selecting it using X).

6-Go back by selecting "Back". And then "Exit".

7-And it will restart the PSP

8-Connect the PSP to the PC.

9-PC will ask for the driver. Chose the one which you can browse to get the driver from a specific folder. And browse from the download from "http://www.elotrolado.net/hilo..." (Sorry I can’t explain this section very well because it depends on the OS)

10-And the pc will say that it was/is installed successfully.

11-Start up the "RemoteJoyLite.exe" program inside "RemoteJoyLite_0 19" folder and that’s it....

Note after doing step 11 it will take time for you to see your display on the pc...and Step 9 will take time for the pc to install the drivers.

Hi.

Whenever I access savefiles it freezes my PSP. Can I do something to fix this or am I destined to forever play games without loading/saving/creating new savefiles?

It works fine otherwise, for the PSP main menu, in games (that is as long as I don't have to load a saved game), play some homebrew games or when I watch UMD movies.

Some homebrew and PSX games do not work, just shows "waiting" on the PC.
