PSP Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-B Released

Liquidzigong (and Coldbird? or is that another alias?) has released PSP Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-B, which improves on PS1 support. No longer are you confined to PSN downloaded PS1 games -- any PS1/PSX game, however you managed to obtain it, *should* boot and play without issues. And also added is support for Memory Stick Micro (M2) on the PSPgo. So get updated! Download: PSP Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-B - source: pro.coldbird.co.cc

i like Total n00bs work but he is always slow and make us wait too much.
may be i should just go with this one because i don't think he is going to release TN HEN-D soon (at least it feels like he is not going to release it this week).

other light CFW are getting updated so fast.
TN hen also get updated but they are very slow compared to other releases.

I updated my PSPgo to test this out and so far I like it I'm now playing Tales of Phantasia (PS one), but thanks to Davee's 6.35 to 6.20 downgrader I can always switch back to 6.20 for TN's HEN :) and Thank you Liquidzigong for making a CFW that is for any PSP that's on 6.35 OFW.

Working just fine on my PSP-3004. Haven't tried any PSX games yet, but it does everything TN-C did, and more. It's pretty much a real custom firmware. It can even play some games I couldn't play on TN-C, like Tenkaichi Tag Tag, Burnout Legends, Tales Of Eternia, and Wipeout Pure. I wouldn't be surprised if it can run MH3 too, I'll try it later. My existing .prx plugins worked just fine too. GREAT work, Liquidzigong!

6.35PRO-B is jus kool... pops, isos, homebrews, some of the plugins runs smoothly... sub version is going to sport a recovery menu, hope its a good one...if 6.20TN-D is just pops + TN-C , i'll prefer PRO-B... unless TN has added something really cool in TN-D(XMB ISO support, recovery menu though unlikely), m gonna stay on PRO-B...

You need to update to 6.35 (the official firmware), then just run it as normal homebrew, and boom, it's installed. It can run on official firmware without a HEN, because it's signed with the official Sony keys. You can always downgrade to 6.20 if you don't like it, using Davee's signed downgrader.

Just wanted to say thank you! FINALLY am I am able to play PS1 RPG's on the go! I just tested 2 games (Tales of Destiny and Warzone 2100) and BOTH worked flawlessly! In a little bit Im gonna test it using games with PSX2PSP.

Once you used the ProB updater, you don't have to run it again/install - instead you use Fast Recovery when you are on OFW. So Pro B to install..then once you fully shut down your PSP, you then use fast recovery.

Upgrade to OFW 6.35. Download the file, extract it, and then put the extracted folder "635PROUPDATE" in your PSP/GAMES folder on your psp. Then just run the game from your xmb.

You have to download a program called PopStation GUI, and create PSX eboots with it. Then put the folder containing your PSX eboot in your PSP/GAME folder.

you need to grab eboot decrypter..i believe it supports up to 6.36..and the 6.36 official firmware and decrypt it,once done you will find the files and version.txt from the firmware...just a quick what to do

I've tried some of the psx eboots I made myself and I must say some work and some don't. I don't have a plugin's folder or seplugins folder... I tried brave fencher mushacey(sp) but i knew that would crash because its never worked... but I've tried parasite eve 1 & 2 and I just get a black screen... everything else i've tried worked though... should this support previous POPs plugins so you pick the correct firmware emu? thanks.

I downloaded the .iso, opened it in "Simple Popstation GUI" by ZiNgA BuRgA, and just clicked "GO..." Works perfectly on lv9 compression. No problems yet.

a minor bug in PRO-B... usb charge option in vsh..... when u enable it and restart ur vsh it works fine.. but when u just put it in usb mode and revert back from it it is actually disabled while vsh menu shows usb charge enabled.. restarting the vsh fixes it.. but i should be fxed its irritating. TN HEN usb charge works perfect,,

if you have a psp 1000 then 5.00m33 is the best. if you have a hackable psp 2000 then use 5.50gen. this temporary cfw is as good as it gets for all other psps. it's as close to cfw as the unhackables have ever got.. and it is a great thing for them.. it's fantastic. liquidzigong is a little genius. it serves a great purpose to many people.

If you can't wait or don't like what a developer has done don't say it in a bad way or attack the develop. Your only waiting and using it (cfw,apps) that's all you do!

Or you can encourage and not put down this developers by atleast thanking them and informing them you appreciate what they have done for the scene. nuff said.

Wish someone could make popsloader plugin to work with 6.35 PRO-B then it will be perfect, so far all the latest psp and psxpsn games work fine, but some custom made psx eboot dont work 100% or simply dont work at all like Thousand Arms and Super Robot Wars Alpha (English translated). With Thousand Arms it freezes my psp with a black screen and Super Robot Wars Alpha freezes at the Playstation logo but I can still quit the game. My psp model is 2001 btw

You need to update to official firmware 6.35, then you download the two files from here http://pro.coldbird.co.cc/
Then you just run the 6.35 PRO-B installer, and you're all set. But every time you shut down your PSP you have to run PRO-B Fast Recovery.

my psp cant charge using a charger so i use the usb.in tn-c i can play and charge with the usb connected with pro-a and b it only charges in the xmb if i play it stops charging.can enyone help or maybe a update to pro-b solve this problem.

What happens is... I start up the game. It loads up. Works PERFECTLY, except no music..... Like there will be sound effects but no music which makes the game quite boring

I tried using a different version of the game with same results.

The ID of the game is SLUS-00005. Perhaps a different ID would work better?

Any help would be GREAT

My PsP iso games are not working on PRO-B...it would just have a black screen with KHBBS and on MH3rd Portable, the patched one....the PsP would just shutdown...help on what i might be doing wrong?

This is Great CFW, Thanx for (Liquidzigong and Coldbird) for this CFW and keep the hard work up it is work with my psp 2004, FVIII,FVII,FFIX , all worked fine resident evil now Iam try crono cross,i had pro. with installing OFW 6.35(when I install it it toell me that my version is 9.90 and there is no need to update) cause I am using prometheus-4 but every thing goes all right when I use GEN-D3 to upgrade to OFW 5.50 then to OFW 6.35 then I install the CFW 6.35 PRO-B every thing is go all right....

PS1 ISO CSO all works in my psp 3004 if you are having problems it can be because some of the seplugins aren't supported, delete those and it should work

To all people asking about 6.37 and will it work. The answer is NO. You will have to find a way to downgrade but If you got an older phat 1000 series or first slim model 2000 series then its possible to downgrade.

Awesome update. Just wondering something though. Using component output works great on my PSPGo with PSP games. However, when I try a PSX game, it shows the PSX logo, then the signal is lost.

(EDIT) - Seems to be an issue with my PVR passthrough. Tried directly into the TV, works fine.

BTW, I've tried over 12 PSP games, and so far, every one has worked. (Again, awesome update)

ok for all of you with 5.50 gen d or pro to install 6.35 ofw you need to go into the cfw menu (hold the top right button when turning on) then goto advanced and flash 0 you need to have the usb plugged into the pc .open the folder called vhs then find version.txt open that and change version 9.90 to 6.00 then restart and your good

I need to ask: Do I simply download the 635 OFW, install it and THEN install this? Is it as simple as that?

I just now upgraded to 5.50 gen d-3 which I think is ok, but now I see that it is possible to upgrade to the latest ofw and just switch ot a cfw with a little homebrew patch.

The compatibility list of this cfw states that xenogears would work fine here but when I played, it always freezes in the first battle after the shatter effect. Could anybody tell me what i did wrong? I really loved xenogears though... ps, thx in advance for who will help me... ^^
