PSP 6.39 TN-A (HEN) Released

Total_Noob and Hackman present 6.39 TN-A! It's the homebrew enabler that makes your PSP much cooler. 6.39 TN-A is your gateway to [unsigned] homebrew, plugins, PS1 games and *ISOs -- everything you could ask for ... unless of course you're Sony. This version is pretty much identical to 6.20 TN-E; minor changes have been made to support official firmware (OFW) 6.39. Just copy the "TN_HEN" directory to /PSP/GAME and execute. You're now homebrew enabled. Mad props to some1 for the kernel exploit making 6.39 TN possible (and public). And of course respect to everyone else involved in keeping the scene alive after all these years. * 6.39 TN-A out of the box (zip archive) does not support loading/playing ISOs. TN whatever his reasons, it is his decision. IT is not his responsibility to help anyone. However, TN shows bad attitude not to release TN 6.38 He should not post the video in Youtube his proof of concept if he is just showing it for fun or to prove himself. In the other hand, TN for you, do not let people expect too much from you. If others do not appreciate what you're doing, let it go. Tried this TN 6.39 HEN, does not work on PSP-200x series. Need to use davee downgrader instead. Unit keeps on shutting down. Good thing I was able to switch back down to 5.50 Prome-4

It worked all fine with my psp 3004 (04g) RUNNING OFW 6.39.But the problem is,we must use prometues iso loader to run iso's.And as you all know prometues iso loader wont run some games and it is better to stick with 6.39 pro b6

first of all, thanks TN! this is great! i like it nice and clean. then again, im not a buttpirate that likes to download all my games etc etc.

second, to all of those who are butthurt about the video and the never to release HEN of tN : here is a golden rule of hacking : ALWAYS HAVE AN EXPLOIT/HACK ON YOUR SIDE THAT ISNT PUBLIC. this is to prevent updates to kill your way of getting in. if you wanna make it public or not that you have another hack is your own choice. if i were to be in TN's place i would have made the video showing that an update is not preventing me to get in the system saying im still in business. also, iirc he didn't release it because the butthurt cfw fans were jackasses as fuck.

3th, when its deemed stable and 100% working ill soooo be updating my psp and using this HEN :')

My opinion on the whole not releasing this till now is pretty simple. Let's say I'm throwing a party, & I'm making chilidogs. The guys at the party next door are making chilidogs too, but they're putting onions on their chilidogs. I don't have onions on my chilidogs, maybe I don't like onions or whatever, they're my chilidogs. Well if you tell me "Nice party man, your chilidogs are great, but I like mine with onions." I'm gonna say,"Okay, it was nice having you, come back soon, maybe I'll get somebody to bring some onions next time." You look at me and yell,"EPIC FAIL!! Your chilidogs suck, U don't have any damn onions!" Well, I'll tell you I'm not throwing another party for awhile & onions will be the last thing on my mind.

He felt butthurt that Pro was more popular, so he did the the worst thing he could do to the scene, show he could contribute, but wont. I will never support a developer that flaunts what he can do, but never releases it because some dicks flame him or there is something that is more popular out there.

Also don't assume people do not know how to code if they post in the comments here.

Have you ever coded shit? Probably not.
Have you ever found kernel exploits? No.
Have you ever helped anyone on the forums of this site with anything? Again probably not.

I'm using both PRO and TN with my 6.20, but here's my guide in using PRO only, 'coz i think it's better to use PRO for n00bs who just want a plain ISO/CSO support.

1. Download 6.20 OFW http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/... (you should be able to find an EBOOT.PBP in it)
2. extract the EBOOT.PBP to (yourPSP)/PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder (if there's no such folder, create one)
3. run the update on your PSP, (read and follow the instructions carefully, this step is risky if you don't)
4. After the update, download 6.20 CFW PRO-B6 http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/...
5. Extract 'PROUPDATE' and 'FastRecovery' folder to (yourPSP)/PSP/GAME folder6. Execute PROUPDATE on your PSP7. Press X if prompted and X again to return to XMB.
8. Delete PROUPDATE.
(note: every time your PSP is fully shut off for some reason/s, the CFW will be deleted, to return to CFW again just execute FastRecovery)(D o not delete FastRecovery, it's your way back to CFW)

TN didn't include an ISO loader in his works because he doesn't support piracy, and why are you folks so one sided here? Why do you keep on thinking all the bad sides of him? Haven't you thought that the reason TN didn't release his 6.38HEN is because we're already using something on our PSP's, and the reason he released this is to show us that he's still with us, and is still willing to help us along the way.

It has become super slow!!!!Very slow in playing iso/cso games. I've tried to remove all other games and just leaving one game in my 16Gb memory sticks(because I thought it might be due to so many games I put inside that cause it to be very slow, about 11 games) but it never worked. go to VSH menu, find 'CPU clock game', and change the value to Default/Default.

you can also change it on the recovery menu, go to 'CPU speed' and change the value of 'Game CPU/BUS' to Default/Default.
