PSP 6.35 PRO HEN Signed!

It's not working on my PSP-2000 running firmware 6.35 (you already know that if you follow us on twitter), but your model and luck may differ. This is Liquidzigong's signed version of 6.35 PRO -- the homebrew enabler (or HEN). Now lets take a moment of silence for all those PSP save game exploits and HBL. You were awesome! Copy this signed EBOOT.PBP to a directory under PSP/GAME, like this for instance: /PSP/GAME/635PROHEN/EBOOT.PBP. Now run it from the XMB. It'll either work, returning you to the XMB, or it'll bail out and crash, like it does for me. Cheers to Virtuous Flame and Coldbird for 6.35 PRO HEN. You know, I heard a rumour once... Virtuous Flame and Liquidzigong are the same person. Whether or not there is any truth to that, I don't know... Either way props to everyone who make the PSP scene what it is today. My PSPgo is charging; I'll confirm whether or not this works on that after. Update: Good tip from keane -- on my PSP-2000 it works now -- disable UMD Cache under System Settings. Cheers! Haven't tested yet, but I am currently running enabler.
So as I am to understand, this is signed 6.35 pro. So as prometheus loader ran under the 6.35 pro enabler what is keeping prometheus from running on this signed fw?
The point of a signed firmware is to allow us to run any package right?
Wouldn't prometheus run on ofw if it was signed? Whats the point in installing this fw if we still have to sign every package? Surely I missed the point completely.

I'm on PSP 3000 6.31PRo, running Prometheus, does anyone recommend going to Signed PRO (I can update to 6.35 OFW)?
Is it a permanent HEN unlike PRO?
does it support Prometheus ISO Loader? Emulators?

The point is that right now, publicly available encryption (i.e. signing) utilities don't allow signing as complex software as Prometheus (because it uses some complex libraries, kernel access etc.).

Good afternoon. I just downgrade from 5.50 gen d3 to 6.35 ofw just to test the 635PROHEN and it worked with prometheus iso loader. There is no VSH menu, of course, but it worked fine. I will try to follow the steps that Wololo did (http://wololo.net/wagic/)and this relocation fixing to try to do it with 6.20 hen, a loader and Adhoc File Transfer, one of the best homebrews I've seen. Thanks a lot for your hard work. I don't understand this like you do Wololo, buy it is "un gran reto" for all of us to try to do this by ourselves with your help.

i just bought a 2nd hand pspgo and it came with OFW 6.30...tried the signed prometheus but it doesn't load any iso...just exits to xmb...has anyone here tested if prometheus runnin on signed 6.35 Pro HEN on a pspgo works?

Works like a charm on my 6.35 3004 PSP.

no, it will not work unless you have 5.03 firmware. if you want to use this, you should downgrade yor psp which is not recommended, for downgrading has risk of brick, but it's your choice.

Long time watcher, First time poster. In the time that I have been watching and hacking I honestly can not believe that these gods of the hacking world have almost created a universal skeleton key for the psp...

Anyway I appricate everything they have done but, I question. Is there another way to get certain black-listed iso's to play? I have this hack and two games that really want to play but, they will not load with my prometheus loader. Can I install another iso loader, plug-ins or something to get my two black list games to play?

I have signed my new beta of PSPUAE Im working on. So now PSPUAE works on both OFW and Exploits.

Using it on official firmware means you only get 10MB for mem, but via hoembrew methods you now get over 32MB.

Lots to do yet though, got a 3 to 4 FPS speed increase, ;).
Hopefully HDD support will now follow.

this is sweet, sure i could just go back to m33, but i cant play ff8 on it.
i'll have to take a look at these tools, i hate makefiles though, they were my downfall in psp programming, i compiled 2 simple programs, forgot about it for a year, then tried to pick it back up, but no dice.

Before I updated from '6.20', I wanted to know if it was worth it as well, I couldn't find a proper answer so I'm answering it now.

As of now, yes, it does look like it's worth updating from 'any firmware' to 6.35, ever since I got my PSP 3000, I've had to wait through long loading times for homebrew, Chickhen turned me a little insane, IT JUST WOULDN'T WORK FOR NO REASON, it would take lets say half an hour sometimes to get it to work, it was really annoying if I was out doing anything, completely unreliable, HBL was much better, but still to pretty long to get into the HEN.

Signed 6.35 PRO HEN however is quite fast compared to the old HENs, it only takes 10-20 seconds and for me has had an 100% success rate, compared to chicken r2 which was SO ANNOYING, and HBL which can take about a minute or two, SO YES, COMPLETELY WORTH THE UPDATE IMO, all backups/iso's so far have worked, all homebrew so far has worked, the only problem is no plugins and vsh menu(which I dont really mind myself), but if you REALLY want them, then you can stay with 6.20 TN, but remember that apparently 6.35 TN-C will release soon and we can all guess it will be signed, so don't worry on 6.35 we all should get the TN features.

I have also heard some people cant get PRO HEN to work, but it worked fine for me, so I'll say it again.

For those guys wanting PSX games to run on 6.35 PROHEN, I recommend this software: PSX2PSP. It converts ur PSX isos to EBOOTS. Place the EBOOT file in PSP/GAME and launch it from the XMB. It works nd currently im playing SPYRO on it.

I tried using the 6.35 PRO HEN then used ISO Loader soo....

I played A.C.E Portable... then it hanged at the opening video. WTF.

I'm using PSP-3000.

Then when I tried playing my LEGIT DJ Max Portable 3, it doesnt wanna load and it freezes.

I deleted the HEN and the ISO and the DJ Max Portable 3 worked again... WTF :|

Any comments on this?

yes it still has to be applied every time you shut down fully but its no longer takes much time as you do not have to load demo's and saved games all you do is run the hen straight from XMB so its very easy to swop between the hen and OFW much better than doing the HBL method but if your using 5.50 gen 4 pro it's up to you to decide

Hey this question may or may not have come up but it just occured to me and it might be a noob question and not even related to this subject, but since the PSP Go systems cant play PSX/1 games that arent from PSN, and even though it already has PSX/1 emulation built in, would it be possible to port and sign an old PSX emulator to the PSP go? it would be easier than signing psx games to the system one at a time and it would give me (and others) something to do with our PSX eboots that are just sitting around

for all of you on 6.20 (pspgo)wonderin g if you should update to 6.35 i suggest wait until plugins are supported. if your worried about having to load hbl and wait the min or two. just pause any game while in hen and you can shutdown completely. when you power back up just start that paused game then REPAUSE when it goes back to xmb it will be in hen mode. It takes me 20 seconds tops to get back into hen.

You place it in your ms0:/PSP/GAME folder and then boot it up. It's way much faster than ChickHEN + GEN-x.

I have a PSP 3001 OFW 6.35 I had the 635ProHEN-signed working fine to play emmulators and homebrew until just a little bit ago, I put a UMD in while in 6.35 Pro and it was fine, then either I hit the power slide too much while playing (as I do sometimes) and my PSP turned off. So either it was me or it turned off itself. In any case, when I turned it back on the UMD was still in my PSP, but the game was off. I checked to be sure (tho I knew it had turned fully off) that my firmware was OFW 6.35, it was. So I tried 635ProHEN and it started ... then went to a black screen, sat there for awhile then an electric "clunk" sound & my PSP turned off.

I tried again and again, same result, took my battery out, replaced the eboot file, didn't have the UMD in at all during the again and again (also my UMD settings are both set to "off" for start & cache)

So as I've been typing this I had my PSP battery totally out and I just tried and now it's working again. FWIW.

I jumped from 6.31PRO to this signed 6.35PRO (upgraded to 6.35 OFW, then simply ran the HEN, voila!)
It is working well!
I even added the Light VSH menu, tested with emulators and few ISOs, all is cool.

It's too late. I already upgrade my 6.20HEN to 6.35PRO. First time, it work. After using few times, it didn't work anymore. I tried HBLE to SIGNED. None seem to be working. I hope, there is a way to downgrade back to 6.20HEN.

Can I change my PSP CPU clock speed with this 6.35 PRO HEN Signed for OFW or do I really need a Custom Firmware? Doesn't need to be permanently. Only for the session is alright (like you have to start HEN every time in OFW).

doesnt work in my psp 2000 5.03 ta-88v3 motherboard.

i already tried to disable all my plugins, and the umd cache off, and even formatting my own memory stick. tried to install the signed chickhen r2 of liquidzigong. that's the only thing that worked, but the 6.35 prohen signed? its not working in my psp. tried several ways but still no luck. i already tried and followed all the steps and the alternate steps mentioned above that claimed that it is really working but still unable to make it work in mine.

can you please give me a complete tutorial or instructions on how can i make this work in my psp 5.03 ta88v3?

Tried this on two different 3000's and hit the same problem; it loads ony about 1/10 of the time, other times the psp just shuts off. Tried switching UMD cache on and off, not effect. Any advice?

U Will have to create a ISO folder. Mostly softwares and hack are recognised in the PSP/GAME folder.

U cannot fix that problem. But there is a solution. Keep the hack at all times in the Memory Stick so that if it goes away u can put back CFW again. And also try not holding the power switch up for a long time. Just flick it up and it will turn off! Holding it up makes the hack go away! Also charge your battery whenever it is low so that u dont lose your hack :)
