Port HBL to Your Own Game Exploit

Wololo has written a very intuitive tutorial for all the aspiring PSP developers out there. More often than not I see new users over at lan.st posting their findings -- some turn up exploitable, some not. Basically if you can overwrite "ra" (return address) you've likely stumbled upon a user-mode exploit and you're set. Bonus points if you find a kernel exploit. But what next once you found said exploit? Wololo answers: Port Half Byte Loader. And once you've done that: Email hacks @ psp-hacks with a dot com and share your work with the world. You'll make your mother proud, my word.

To complete this tutorial, you need basic shell skills, a working pspsdk, a working game exploit and the associated binary loader / hello world, a ruby interpreter, and basic ruby skills (usually, if you know any other scripting language, youll figure it out easily, there are not so many changes required).

Wololo did not just hack the PSP, allowing for Homebrew for the helpless. He's actauly going to be the cause of others hacking their psp. It's like a snowball.

ok how about they stop wasting there time & work on getting CTG baqq instead of bringing out HBL -_-
Make 6.31 CTF happen & stop f*****g with us by giving us a lil taste of CTF, these days i wish we were still on FW 4.30, it was super fast 4 ppl to get CTF but now it takes years apparently

Is it possible at all for temp CFW to come out of this? What kind of exploit did the New 2000s and early 3000s use to get temp CFW anyway? From my understanding you need kernel access for CFW, but did they have kernel access for the temp CFW?

it used the TIFF image exploit. and i believe the firmware back then used the kernal for viewing that format. but im not sure about that
