LCFW 6.39 ME-2 Installer BETA for Firmware 6.39

Submitted by greg; May 28, 2011

neur0n continues holdin' it down with yet another release: LCFW 6.39 ME-2 Installer for Official Firmware 6.39. It's beta and I'm not sure what the leading "L" stands for (maybe Lite?); nevertheless, ME-2 is now compatible with PSP-3000 models! As it stands custom firmware 6.39 ME-2 is compatible with PSP-1000, 2000, and 3000 models -- 01g, 02g, 03g, 04g, 07g and 09g. Unfortunately the PSPgo is NOT supported -- 05g. Inside the package you'll find the 6.39 ME-2 Installer, the Launcher, and the instructions (in readme.txt) to get up and running. neur0n also patched up PSARDumper, adding new keys for anyone wanting to dump/decrypt 6.39 firmware modules. Download: LCFW 6.39 ME-2 Installer BETA Psardumper w/ 6.39 Support - source: @neur0ner

Yes the L stands for Lite!
Its a CFW like PRO, for all psps (not go :( ) based of 6.39 OFW and 6.39 ME-2!
And it has ALL the features of ME-2 (except the recovery menu).
We need a 6.3X Fake sign for perma patch... this would be awesome *-*

You guys are so awesome. Emulators are the only thing I cant get to work. I put them under the Game150 folder like you used to. Is there something Im missing? Do I need the original 150 Eboot placed somewhere for homebrew to work?

a n00b question here.
I found that this CFW has the sony np9660 , m33 , oe and me iso drivers. All these drivers lag while playing cso. Can i install the inferno iso driver from v6.39 PRO-B6 into v6.39 ME-2. If yes , how ??

maybe the problem comes from your memory card. EXample: i have a 16gb and a 4gb and they are sandisk PRO DUO. with the 16gb the cso games lag a bit but whith the 4gb they dont lag a bit, thats why the 4gb has better read rates. and if you want to try inferno you can install the new 6.39 prob6 that coldbird just reales i while ago

I believe we should all write an irish drinking song in Neuron's name.

------------
Ohhhh heee never slain a beast and he never took a wife,But ol' Neuron nevertheless has changed everyone's life,He took one look at the PSP and said "that's a challenge for me",An' faster than you could see, he hacked it to be free!

<chorus>
Oh Neuron, he's a good oneHe's friend to all homebrew (that's true)Oh Neuron, he's the best sonThat a mother ever knew
</chorus>

------------
Okay now you guys keep it going.

It stands for Lite, or Live. Doesn't matter which, but different people call it different things.

i think i have found a risk here..they added the MS speed up right?? what i notice is that whenever i activate it may psp would sometimes would just go black screen and i can still here the sounds that i can still pick...also when i turn off my psp sometimes it will not read my memory stick even if i use pandora..the first time that happen i think my psp just got done for...but after maybe 5min it turnd on 0_0..
so if i were you i would turn off the MS speed up..it may affect your psp for go0d..
