HBL R95 v1.01 for 6.3X and Hello World + SDK for Hot Shots & Everybody's Golf Released

As I write this Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee is still available on PSN. 6.30/6.31 users: have you got your copy yet? If you want homebrew then I suggest you do, because the whole crew -- Wololo, J416, FrEdDy, and Mamosuke -- have been hard at work. SDKs are now available and you can bet HBL ports will soon follow. Software Development Kits (SDKs) won't serve the average homebrewer any real purpose. They're more for developers. But hey, if you care to broaden your horizons, then get the SDK below.

The directory/file structure is laid out different in HBL R95 v1.01 for OFW 6.3X. That'll hopefully clear things up when it comes to installing J416's HBL port. Just copy everything under "ms0" to your PSP; that includes the HBL files and hacked save game. The "eLoader" and "SDK" directories are source code. Do you have the psp game?
Do you have winrar?
Do you have a usb cable for your PSP?

You will need 3 of these.
First you connect your PSP to your computer and go to usb mode and then open your PSP memory stick in "my computer"

Second you open the file you downloaded with winrar and copy the "SDK_hotshotsgol f1" folder to the memory stick (don't put it in any of the other folders)

Third you open the "hsg-poc-wololo" folder and copy the "h.bin" file into the memory stick. then go to your memory stick and open the "PSP" folder then open "SAVEDATA" do the same to the PSP folder in "hsg-poc-wololo" folder and copy the "UCUS98614" to "SAVEDATA" on the memory stick.

That's all the work on the computer done so exit usb mode and start the game and load the save file.

I have never done this, so correct me if I'm wrong.

I installed this, it seems to be working (I think?).

I get a screen with snow in the background, and it says Hello world adapted from... etc etc.

Now what do I do to play around with emulators and homebrew?

It's a Hello World.... What did you expect? Did you really thing this could run ISO when the full blown HBL can't even do that??

Hello World is just a proof of concept to show that unsigned code can be run on the PSP. It's one of the first major steps after an exploit is found.

It MIGHT work. I'm about to test it on 5.50 GEN-D4 just to see if it works for that firmware. You can use whichever version you want but they'll both have the same performance. When HBL gets ported to the US version it will be just the same as HBL with Patapon. The only difference is that you'll actually have to buy a game

Download the demo and find out? Why are you afraid to test something yourself? Demos are free...

No, it won't work. You don't have any way to save in that demo... how would you use the hacked save data?

heres a question being that as of today you cannot run isos without cfw...is it possible to create a psp emulator for the psp that can run iso/cso's on HBL ? Has it even been attempted or thought of ?

Well I have the original version of Hot Shots Golf Open Tee and I installed the h.bin in the root and the save game where it belongs, I load up the game get a UMD symbol in the cornor for loading but then the screen goes blank and it cuts off. Anyone else have this problem or know what I might of did wrong?

youve always needed custom firmware to play isos a psp emulator on the psp is rediculous. The hbl doesnt even run all hebrew yet its still working progress and is coming along great.

A new custom firmware is not going to happen hbl is intended mainly to run hebrew programs so your probably going to have to buy your game now.If you updated from gend3 to run this exploit id of probably not bothered you should have done more research

i have the exploit running hello world on my psp go 6.31 using the game everyones golf off the eu psn store.

You should stick with the patapon 2 exploit. This exploit is intended for those sporting the psp 3k and go that have updated above 6.20 ofw.

The hello world for hsg is all that is released right now but i think wololo and co. are working on porting the hbl from the patapon 2 exploit to work with this save game exploit.

Tried this exploit on a PSP 3004 with FW 6.31 and the EU (PSN) version of Everybody's Golf.
