Half Byte Loader R113 Signed & Released for PSP Firmware 6.37

Back from the dead and taking over 6.37 is Half Byte Loader R113 from JJS. For whatever reason you've upgraded to firmware 6.37, you should know all that homebrew in your collection still functions -- signed or not. That is with the exception of ISO loaders and other kernel mode driven 'brew; I'm talking user-mode only right now. This version of HBL is signed and requires no save game exploit. No more annoying Patapon warriors and no more wasting time. Just copy the archive to your memory stick and start your homebrew.

HBL R113 Features

Run homebrew on 6.37 (or any other 6.XX firmware) without the need to sign them
Run homebrews that cannot be signed (such as ScummVM) on firmware 6.37 or below
Put your homebrews in any folder you want, to avoid turning your Game XMB into a huge mess

Please help me im a total newb in this. I have a lot of question to ask. Does OFW mean official firm ware?
Can HBLoader R113 work on my PSP-1000 phat with firmware 6.35(not costum)? Do I need Costum Firmware or pandora battery something to play homebrew games? Sorry for asking dumb questions pls help me.

I download HBLoader R113 and properly installed it. Then I download Snes9xTYL but Im confused how it works. Do I need to download ROMS? plz tell me where and how THX.

I feel they work very hard on stuff like this. I just got my psp go an I cant find a needed app. I want to put songs from my phone. So is there a app to send songs threw bluetooth. Since PSP GO has bluetooth.

I have a question and hope that someone here can please naswer this asap,I just downloaded the new hbl and ran it but don't know due to it being my first time doing this and I have psp 6.31 ofw right now.Do I need to download ChicHEN,ISO Loader,or something else because I ran the program and it worked but on the screen it just stays on the screen saying "Free memory" that's it,do I need to download anything else to be able to play homebrew like snes emulator with roms?Please let me know asap I would really appreciate it,thanks.

ive had 10 psp's starting when they first came out (traded em all 4 oxycontin like a dumb ass) now i have 1 and just learned what a CFW is so i put hlbr113 on my psp exatly like told via the web, however, it starts out like a game then goes black? any suggestions...oh yea the root of my psp is spelled out like this MP_ROOT and there is 2 files already in it from downloading yhe comic feader. there is also another root file that says MLV_ROOT i do know that the first root file on my psp was the MP_ROOT????

half byte loader r113 could run Prometheus iso loader but when you select a game there, it goes back to the hbl

Download it, put in the game directory of your memory card, then run it in your PSP like a game, however, before running it, make sure the UMD cache in system settings if disabled for less chance of crash...

Root doesn't mean mlv_root or etc.
It means the place where all the folders are, or the page where the psp named folder is.

Ok honestly, people need to learn how to type, spell, and ask a question without sounding like a complete retard, i feel as though my IQ had gone down reading everything trying to find an answer. I got HBL 113 to work, but i dont know where to put the hombrews ive downloaded, to make hbl able to load them. I get a black screen and the psp shuts off, which from what ive read, is because there are no apps for HBL to load. I'd rather ask and get a real answer rather than putting stuff in folders and trying to figure it out, i dont want something bad to happen. thnx.

Hi mate, I just put HBL on a PSP 3003 6.20 and in the tut it said to put the apps in "PSP/GAME" so my "Game" folder had HBL and Spider (solitaire to test it) and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps (sorry if this has been answered since)

People relax, actualy there is a way to play iso/cso games on your PSP with soft 6.37. It´s completely safe, you have to use the program iso2eboot v2, google it and download it. This will convert your ISO/CSO games to eboot format, then you just have to put the eboot game on your PSP game folder and then play it. This program only works with ISO/CSO till 730M!!! If the program simply won't convert the game, try to download another iso.
On the other hand HBL works, but only for homebrews that cannot be signed, like some emulators. If the image gets black then you are using it wrongly, just press the PS button and leave the game, dont do stupid things.
