Update: ChaosZero just dropped me a line...

The DevHook 0.46 Stock option does not work. I spent the last few hours trying to figure out why, but can't figure it out. Rather than release a new version, it may be simpler to just add a note. The GUI mod is more useful. Note: For people who want to "Flash" devhook to the PSP's Flash, they can install the Stock version first, then the GUI second. They will have the 2.60 Lancher Eboot, and the GUI Eboot. By having both, the Stock version will now load, giving them the Flash ROM option.

@ Dizzle... you can't start up an emulated frimware without a umd in your psp.

Number 6 = Introductory flame - Learn to type in full English may help.

Right now for the real help. Place the game ISO in the ISO folder of the root of your Memory Stick.

When you load DevHook select the ISO to be loaded, when the XMB loads press HOME + L.

Hmmm... If I have an UMD in the drive then I can't emulate a higher firmware - i just freezes. But if I don't have any UMD in the PSP I can use 2.71! ;)

I think that's because I downgraded. But now I have a clean 1.5. I think now I have to put an UMD in the drive.

@Heartless Angel, If there will be a downgrader, it will be for a very long long long time. To all noobs, stop whining about downgraders, usually they come just wait, watch and see. Does anyone know if booster is working on Devhook anymore?

That question has been asked so many times. "What about a 2.80 downgrader!?!?!" Yeah? What about it? No one has any information on it except what is already on ths site, so look for yourself. You ask will not make the hackers work any faster, actually, it would just piss me off. Be greatful the PSP Homebrew Scene is growing as large as it is. And key words..

I mean shit I remember when people were complaining about a 2.5 downgrader and now we have people in the 2.8's? Most of you, without the factory PSP's, is your own damn fault.

PSP ISO Shrink doesn't recognize my PSP it says PSP-Disconnected even when i connect it via USB. I can't do anything can somebody tell me how to fix this?

ive tried the gui dev hook and it dosent start in 222mhz nor 33mhz and the chaos revised is not .46 its .44 dev hook
beleive me i have put the folders in the rite place it just dosent work ive been using dev hhok for a while i know this stuff...
lets just wait for dev hook .47 with 2.8 and 2.81 frimware
and please my bro and his fried have both baught psp 2.6 ta models so please is it coming soon for them???

I dunno what's up with my part of the install, but I have cleaned my 2GB mem stick about 5 times, and Devhook emu'n 2.71 works on a clean install, but when I put 2.6FW (for cheat device, cause I have 2.0 UMD of GTA) I boot / emu 2.6 fine, but when I switch to 2.71, I get the corrupt settings (first thing, blue sceen) in 2.71 (in dev hook). I looked in the forums all over but I still have no good result. This is all from this file, USB Edition. All I want is 2.6 and 2.71 to work not just one or the other.

#35 - I get the same problem with mine. been using dev hook for a while, and never had this problem before now. I am also getting a strange analog stick problem with cso games. it seems to have a mind of its own and wants to always pull to the right. has anyone ever heard of this?

I cant get out of autorun... I press 'X' to cancel it and it brings me to the devhook menu, but it loads firmware 2.71 anyway :( If I restart, it goes back to 1.5, but If I try to access devhook, it just loads 2.71 back again. any advice welcome...

yeah it sasy cant load dev hook so i used a diferent devhook and just downloaded the 2.6 with cheatdevice and the cheatdevice still dont work

Yeah I followed everything, but it wills till not load the game, it starts up but all i get is a "PSP" screen when it starts up, and stays that way for about a few seconds...what am i doing wrong?

I dunno bout cha guys but i didn't get things the way i wanted to do with having 2.60 and 2.71 on psp with devhook with this installer. I put 2.6 in, it fuks up 2.71, so i just go with it, load gta up, but when it gets to the red bar that it is loading GTA saved game(cheatdev) it gets stuck on 50% (the middle) then the psp shuts off. I did 14 clean installs too of devhook. but things aren't workin for me, all i want is cheat device to work....eh.
