Daedalus R12 & GoldenEye Update!

Not bad for a hour's work indeed... StrmnNrmn's latest indicates he has been successful with loading the GoldenEye ROM under Daedalus R12. Now, don't be confused -- there's a fine line between loading a ROM and actually playing it... Nevertheless, StrmnNrmn's on the right track -- improvements aren't far off.

There's still quite a long way to go though. Firstly, I can still only get the rom running with dynarec disabled on the PSP, so the framerate is currently just 6-7 fps. Interestingly it runs fine with dynarec on the PC with the same set of changes, so this indicates a bug somewhere in the PSP dynarec implementation. Secondly, I've not been able to get in-game yet - it just seems to hang with a black screen shortly after starting to load the level. I've not figured out whether this is just running very slowly without dynarec and taking its time, or if there's another bug to be fixed somewhere.

as do i, white psp is shite. why is it that the progression of Daedalus = posts of the most iritating and stupid variety? or is it just me? ....or....is it becuase a certain % of the comments stem from nintendo fanboy wnakers who now own a psp, (and an ipod) yet lack any knowledge associated with the effort and teknikal aspects involved with emulation (or anything else) and as a result end up posting the likes of "wishlist: 100% Speed + SOUND + game's X Y Z working perfectly) ...nehow this is fantastic news, lets hope the rest of the work goes so swiftly! great work StrmnNrmn, as always

Mario 64 is the best working game for this emulator, numerouse releases of deadulus have shown great improvement in the game but it seems progress is slow.
I dont know anything about programming so dont take this the wrong way, and haters dont hate, but if you spread your focus onto getting many games to work partially wouldn't you be fixing the problems with the emulator as a whole?
And in turn wouldnt many games start to work although you have not even tried them yet? I hope this is something you have not thought of yet, good luck and keep up the good work.

I own both a PSP and a NDS Lite, and while the PSP screws the NDS in terms of power, its just my opinion that the DS is much more fun to play. I fail to see why this is a update, I loaded Goldeneye on 11, or was it 10? I cant remember. The graphics didn't look to good but it did infact load and played... slowly.... but loaded.
