Another DaedalusX64 (Beta 2) Video

Submitted by greg; February 25, 2009

Nintendo 64 emulation has never looked so fresh, so smooth... That's DaedalusX64 Beta 2 baby, and it's near... Or so we hope.
Well, really, this is a video of revision 306, a debug build from the team's subversion repository. Wally does mention Beta 2 is coming soon though, and when it's fully primed for release, you know where she'll be. - source: dcemu

Hey common, this kinda stuff takes time. It is improved a lot. Compare this to R1. And remember, this is still beta.

Haha yeah that was pretty good too. Though the tragedy of him almost making it to the top, and his reaction is what made the video for me.

Yeah perhaps this video is more entertaining at the moment, but the progress (and current abilities) this emulator has made is more interesting.

Looks good, I don't think I can be bothered to do Mario 64 again tho. How about some Starfox or Smash Bros?

Definitely an improvement over the last public release.

Sound still an issue, but I can see great potential in this.

Also, play LoZ:OoT on it.

Are you unaware that there's other countries in this world other than your own?

Did you know that there's people out there in which English isn't their first language?

It's called an "accent", genius.

I wish they'd stop releasing 1,000,000 betas and just wait until they're done. What's the point of releasing an emulator this incomplete?

I mean, I love the progress being made, but I can't play games without sound or with massive lag. I don't think many people will play it that way.

Anyway, I do hope they can at least get the big games running smooth with sound (OoT, SM64, Majora, Banko-Kazooie, Conker, Pod Racer, Goldeneye, etc.) I believe in you guys (even though I did go out and buy myself a real Nintendo 64 :P But that's just because I don't think my phat would run the emu as well as a Slim could)

where to get roms? its easy. on google just type “nintendo 64 roms” and a lot of different web pages will show up. coolrom.com and emuparadise.org are my favorite. try those two. i think emuparadise.org is better though.

Incase you have not noticed there are NO other N64 Emulators, this is it, and man what an achievement.
All you people who have not played the latest version, will all be amazed, at how good, and how much faster everything is moving when BETA 2 is released.
will not be long guys, you wait and see. :o)

G'day,

All our code is SVN based, people download and compile them themselves but think its OK to distribute to everyone without a GPL license or anything.

why the hate from some. people do this for no money return. they do it for some other reason. enjoy what people bring you. we could all just have a psp with no mod firmware or anything if it wasnt for people who like to tinker. thanks for the update video.
