An Asteroid Remake For Your PSP!

The Newton Wars was a game overlooked and pointed out previously as a damn nice piece of PSP homebrew.  In a similar style game, we have something of a nostalgic homebrew made for our reliable PSP's.

Developer Jairo David has created the game Space Combat 1.0, and proves to be a fun game much like the arcade favourite "Asteroids".  Players must control their ship, using limited sheilds and lasers, to defend themselves from debris and enemies, collecting bonuses throughout the game to prolong your life in the vast vaccuum that is space.

There are 7 levels, all of which get harder as you make progress, and bonuses include a partner ship, more lasers, and shields.

Until I learn how to use the downloads section of -Hacks, I must keep sourcing you to the site that you will come to below.  I promise I'll keep it all on the -Hacks page once I get taught!

I remember when i was a lad playing this on its release in the uk.1981.happy days.im going to install Laughing

reading a artical on the arcade game the first rom released had a glitch!

"In early versions of Asteroids, arcade rats found a way to "lurk" just off the edge of the screen, zapping the bonus-point UFOs as they came out and theoretically never dying". {thanks to --David F. Smith--}

But then goes out to say "A 2nd ROM was released" .

For people looking for the remixed version, ignore this post. Thing is you can play asteroids by going to the chrome app, or link to original game in flash. You can enable it with or without homebrew by enabling flash.
