Alex the Allegator 4 (PSP Port) Released

Rewind back in time to the original Gameboy era with MK2k's Alex the Allegator 4. It's actually a port from these guys who obviously specialize in old school bananas. And yes -- that's "Allegator", not "Alligator."

Alex the Allegator 4 is a true jump'n'run, just like the old classic ones. Guide Alex through the jungle in order to save his girlfriend Lola from evil humans who want to make a bag of her. Alex the Allegator 4 is a very small game. It runs in a very low resolution with only four colors and will not provide you with any real time video or 3D effects. Nor will it snare you with a compelling storyline. It's only a short platform game with a few tricks up it's sleeve. We're sure you'll like it.

Hi MK2K! have one question.

says X is to shoot. Ive already gotten past first boss still nothing to fire (eggs maybe considering they have an egg counter)

i'm guessing i have to keep playing it's a fun and challenging game.

I was wondering too if I messed with the controls or something but I tested on PC and shooting wasn't of course possible there too in the early levels.

there seem to be parts where you have to jump higher than usual. How do you do that? i just can't reach certain items...

Either jump on enemies and hold the jump button or find an alternative way to get there. I have all the first 9 levels at 100% at the moment.

Well, i've gotten all of the stars and cherries, so now the mini game won't play cause F1 isn't bound on the PSP.

Great game, Gameboy feel is really nice. Framerate seems a bit low, but maybe that s in the pc game too. The camera should scroll more fluently if you ask me. Or my dpad right is busted, don't know.
