6.20 TN-C Released - It's Signed Too!

Total_Noob's 6.20 TN-C (HEN) is here! What next? 6.20 TN-D, which is said to add POPs-emulation (PS1) support. That's what's up. Till then, cheers! 6.20 TN-C Changes

Added 50 MB large memory support for every PSP model except PSP classic.
Added online gaming support.
Added server for TN NETWORK UPDATE.
Fixed bug in VSHMenu where CPU speed hasn't changed when set to default.
Fixed bug in Digital Comics that caused a crash.
Fixed server redirection.
Removed FAKE INDEX.DAT from VSHMenu, but feature is still effective (move version.txt to X:/seplugins/).
Signed HEN with prxEncrypter (thanks to Mathieulh, bbtgp, coyotebean, kgsws and everyone who involved to this project).

I'm on 6.20 already TN-C and it works like a charm, but can't understand does it correct my "not enough memory" error in the browser when i try to go to sites like psp-hacks.com and if it does what do i have to do because i still have this problem...not a big deal but fixing it will be better :) I'm a little new in this and if somebody could help me should be great ;) Thanx in advance

CFW is superior to a hen for various reasons including not having to rerun every time you boot up, psx support, not having to use an iso loader, and probably other things so I would stay with the CFW.

Tested on a PSP 2000, and 3000 3g and 4g models. No bugs, everything checks out. Feel free to remove the Patapon Demo and free up that 90MB of extra space!

guys mind to help a noob out? i can`t make OpenIdea Loader work on this, i`m doing the following

"Memory Stick root"
PSP>GAME>OIP>EBOOT.PBP only (so i can run it from xmb)

and

PSP>SYSTEM>OIP> All the .prx files are here together with a copy of the EBOOT which i placed on the game folder.

But when i run the LOADER, i get stuck on the loading(Black Screen with two lines of "commands" i think) screen and the psp FREEZES.

Btw, I`m using a PSP GO.

What am i missing guys? thanks.

I thought the signing keys were for user mode not kernel mode.

Plugins and iso loaders won't work or have very little compatibility. Unless, of course, he dissected the Patapon demo by decrypting it, analysing it and ripping the necessary parts to replicate the exploit.

to the guy that posted===I reinstalled 5.50 OFW, then The games saw my files as corrupt, the XMB is fine… if your using GAMECATIGORIES.PRX then its most likely thats your problem just move all iso or cso files out of them and just put them all in the iso folder without any CAT_ folder that should fix your problem i had the same thing happen to me a bunch of times its because GAMECATIGORIES.PRX is not singed so t will not work as far as i know but i could be wrong hope this helps

No, I mean the keys that were found in the PS3.

Keys for PS3 - root keys, kernel access (highest privileges)
Keys for PSP - user keys, user mode (limited privileges)

I was under the impression that any homebrew you sign on the PS3 can basically do anything you want but the homebrew you sign on the PSP can run in a limited mode.

Ok first of all its 5.03 ;) and second i do also have a psp3000 at 5.03 which i have never updated and since the signed 50kxploit its been real easy and cool as it starts at the latest one. But however on 6.20 i was considering to update to it to use 6.20tn hen b as i could go online on modnation racers or socom ftb3

But on 5.03 even with the correct version text i think it doesnt allow you to go on. And plus it feels better to be on a higher firmware.
Dissadvatages of 6.20:
1.No recovery menu, in 6.20 i believe.
advantages of 6.20tn hen c:
Go online modnation racers and stuff if you already have a voucher for it.
2.Use protection flash 0 which i heard can be good and bad, turn off flaash protection if wanting to downgrade
3.now use all virtually plugins XD
4. extra loading space of 50mb!!! I dont think all of 50mb of psp2000 was unlocked either but i know psp3000 wasnt ;)

From this i have concluded that you should! update to 6.20 TN-C like i will. And if ever you want to return look at the tutorial threads from a while back.

I don't understand...people are having trouble just copying and pasting the folder?

Look, all you do it COPY the PSP folder from the RAR to PSP ROOT. Meaning don't put it in any folder just move the folder to the PSP memory stick or just the E:\, D:\ or where ever your PSP is inserted. And then just Launch the friggin thing...DONE!
I saw another comment asking about how to install PS1 games...DUDE! It says right there it's for the NEXT version of HEN TN! Jesus christ, don't people READ anymore?

ONE QUESTION! The large 50 mb memory isn't available on any of the emulators i've tried. What'sup with that? Is the memory only available in games? Or is it because I have PSPgo?

5.03 ChickHEN exploit runs almost everything a CFW can do except it doesn't stay permenant.

The ChickHEN exploit is old and uses 5.03 Fiirmware, you CANNOT USE THE PSN ON THIS ANYMORE, even spoofing the version.txt or using PSNLove PRX. You should upgrade to 6.20 TN-C, Just stick with 6.20 Firmware if you are on an unhackable motherboard. The Speed increase in 6.20 ALONE is awesome, 5.03 is out dated and I upgraded my TA-088v3 to TN-C from 5.03 ChickHEN R2. I was able to downgrade my TA088v3 as well back to 5.03 so if you want to go back you can! just don't upgrade past 6.20, 6.20 TN-C GIves you PSN access if you download the PSNLove.prx and enable it.

I currently have a PSP-1001 with CFW 5.50 Gen-B2. If I upgrade to this, will I still be able to play the ISOs, PSX, CWcheats, etc AND use the camera? Or should I wait for this "D" in the future? Don't wanna brick my PSP...

You Know Davee has released his 6.31/6.35 DOWNGRADER don't you? It will downgrade to 6.20 I have done this to 2 PSP Go's so far (there are 2 types of downgrader for PSP Go or slim/phat) Works......No PROBLEM :) http://lolhax.org/2011/01/24/6... (Put in GAME folder)(downgrader link) http://www.mediafire.com/?6e2w... (link needed for the 6.20 update) Put in Game/UPDATE ....Just RUN the Downgrader from XMB and it will auto-connect to the UPDATE (downgrade). Do NOT run the UPDATE as Update as it will NOT work. YES, Better to stay on CFW (not HEN) If you wan to play games 6.xx then just download the "prometheus" that allows for HIGHER firmware games than the 5.XX that you running. There are 4 different updates to the "prometheus" (same person that made the ISO loader). There are 2 types of the Prometheus. One for M33 and One for GEN-D

Make sure the psp is at 80% charge or over. Just leave it on the charger for a few hours. If that doesn't work format your memory stick, reset settings to default, make sure its fully charged, and try again.

hey, i have a psp 3002 slim and light from the god of war package and and planning to crack this bad boy so i can run ps1 games. i will have to wait for tn-d of course as tn-c has no ps1 support. only reason i update to 6.31 is to play the ghost of sparta umd. but every where i have read says that psp 3000 isnt crackable. this is true?

Yeah 6.20 TN-C is not an Official firmware.. it's a hack that helps you play more games that requires some versions...

I upgraded my 3000 with no hassles, just like i did on my ps3 from 3.41 and now everythings running perfect. Obviously there will always be compatibility issues with specific titles but it seems newer games run way better on newer firmware. There's no looking back for me anyway.
