The Flite speech engine has a built in "file to speech" function, but I have taken an approach of breaking a file down into segments separated by return characters so that these segments can be printed to the screen, and so the user can also seek forward and back through the file while the speaking is in progress. With that said; hold the left or right button on the d-pad to step backwards or forward, respectively. And remember the previously covered Garmin GPS Text to Speech Project, well; Blabberbot definitely paves the road for that. Download: Blabberbot V2 - source: qj

But it would be awesome if it was Speech2Text too.
