Will The CIPL Flasher Brick a PSP 3001c 4g?

I just had to know :-? because there were problems I've heard all around about the PRO-B10 CIPL Flasher doing that and I just want to verify. I'm cool with the PRO-C2 being temporary for me though if its a yes to the brick.

It won't brick your PSP at all. The only thing you can't do is run the CIPL flasher, since the 3000 and Go's aren't capable of custom IPL's =]

do you mean the menu you press "R" at the start of turning it on?

if so then you just press "Select" on the XMB screen and scroll down to "Recovery Menue ->"

this is an update for PSP's currently running the PRO series of CFW and as far as I can tell if you have PRO installed you shouldn't have any issues with this update. that being said I didn't write this CFW and anything that happens as a result of the CFW installation is your own responsibility.

I just read through the changelog, and nearly half of the changes are things that are already in the previous version. Am I misunderstandin g something?

Specifically, these are old features, as I understand it:

Homebrew Compatible – Run your own unsigned applications, both user and kernel mode.

Plugin Compatible – Add new features to your PSP via kernel mode background plugins.

PSX Emulator Unlock – Play your PSX classics, yes – all of them. Not just PSN titles.

its like theyre just focusing on the online capabilities now. no one is testing the old features to make sure they still work.

make sure you ran the installer again and uninstall any previous cfw if you have done that already reformat your memory card(id back up watever is one it first) that should make the installer run fine. i just had the same problem worked for me.
