IrisManager 1.60 b4 - PS3

PS3 scene members have been chatting a lot about IrisManager lately with some pretty good reason. All in a file size that is just about 1MB, this software by Estwald and Hermes has very quickly become one of the most popular downloads on the scene. Why you may ask? Well in this very small package lies one of the single most powerful and easy to use backup loaders around. By just messing around with a few simple configurations, chances are you should be able to get just about any title loaded on your CFW PS3. What's more is, this was also the first loading option to really offer solid dongle-free PSX game playback too.

This beta in particular works to address issues with that classic-minded function. With some new on the fly data creation techniques in the emulator, it has been said that games like Resident Evil and Vagrant Story should now be working properly. For those of you that are cheaters, there is also a new mode that allows users to run discs like Xploder from a flash drive while you have your PSOne title all set to go. The only thing it requires is that you remove your flash at the appropriate time. Finally, bugs and protections have also been fixed related to disc copying and inactive syscalls. If you're the type that likes to test out new stuff, this beta is certainly a worthy go ahead. As usual with this kind of thing, the risk is yours to take.
