The PSP scene has been brought back from the dead as of late, and this is just one of the apps that helped the community progress. At a site like this one, possibly one of the biggest draws to hacking your Sony portable is the ability to use emulators for classic systems. The NeoGeo is both a console and arcade machine that would definitely fall under those very strict guidelines. With its unique and colorful game library, the NeoGeo has in many ways spawned a cult following that came out in full force to see what this new, updated unofficial project was all about. Whether you want to get your fix of good old Metal Slug, or maybe just some Marvel Vs. Capcom, this is one of the latest and greatest apps for your PSP (and probably Vita) to bring back those old days of gaming glory.

For those that are real emulation aficionados, this particular version is special because it supports Japan's MVS as well as AES and several versions of Unibios as well. In layman's terms, this essentially means compatibility is at a new height with this revised piece of code. The unibios in particular has also been bumped up to 3.0 which means not only will you be able to play lots of classic titles, but you'll be able to play them well. If you're a real collector, you'll also be happy to see that this mod can hold up to 1024 ROMs in the designated folder along with an increased ROM length of ten. NeoGeo fans unite. The future looks bright on PSP.
